| Bottom line | I was won over by the infomercial and the claims of effectivity and all of those people claiming that it cleared their skin better than ProActiv. The first week of use my skin cleared up totally. Then it got worse. Way worse. After 3 1/2 weeks of use I could not leave my house my face looked so bad. I developed HUGE cystic acne. It was truly the worst my face has ever looked or felt. With one day left on my guarantee I contacted Murad and request to return the bottles and get my money back. This product could work for some people, but it was a NIGHTMARE for me. It took me 3 weeks to get my skin back to where I would leave the house-luckily I work from home! I ended up with scarring all over the left side of my face, which is embarrassing considering I am in my late 20's and have always been praised for my flawless skin (thanks to the use of ProActiv or Klear Action for 8 years) |

| Bottom line | This did not work for me. My skin just does not like Salic acid. I went to the dr today and he gave me the antibiotic Doxycycline to use for a month. He also told me to use Persa-Gel on my face at night. If you have a reaction to Murad's, please go see your doctor/dermatologist and they will help you. |

| Bottom line | I am a 31 yr old healthy male who had a sudden breakout of acne to the lower part of my face and neck, possibly from recent exercise program. I tried Murad after seeing the commercial and IT WAS THE WORST decision of my life! DO NOT USE MURAD, IT WILL BURN YOUR FACE!!! After 3 days of use, I now have what appears to be a chemical burn. I am scabbed up to the point where my co-workers are asking me, "What happened to your face"? Talk about feeling ashamed to go to work! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IT HAS GIVEN ME A CHEMICAL BURN I NOW HAVE TO LIVE WITH. I HOPE IT GOES AWAY. I AM SO MAD I AM CONSIDERING GOING TO AN ATTORNEY TODAY. |

| Bottom line | I used this product for 6 wks. My skin was "okay" when i began, I had used proactiv in high school and college but my skin was alright & like many took a break from the routine, I started breaking out a bit & saw the infamous infomercial on TV. I ordered Murad. August 22nd was the worst day of my skin's life. The day that Murad Acne Complex came in the mail and i used it for the first time. Everyday of using this product made my skin progressively worse. HOWEVER i knew there would be a purging process & decided no matter what i saw on my skin i would simply stick with it. Even after reading reviews here at week 3 I kept going. long story short my dematologist was HORRIFIED when i came to her office after almost 2 months of using murad. I have puffy swollen skin and 10 HUGE deep cysts around my mouth, cheeks, chin, etc. HONESTLY, LISTEN, STAY AWAY if you are thinking of using it! in 6 weeks my skin is now RUINED!!! embarrassing and painful cysts and acne i've never had before. |

| Bottom line | I switched from Proactive to Murad cause I felt like Proactive stopped working. First couple of days, my skin seemed like it adjusted well, then the nightmare began the following 2 1/2 weeks. I haven't broken out since the pre Proactive days; started on the jaw lines, then cheeks, forehead, and now around my chin. Sent Murad an email, and then wrote back saying that it has a 90% success rate and that I should use the gel only at night, for the next 2 weeks cause I am still purging. Today is Sunday, Friday was about 5 weeks and it was still bad. I simply ran out of patience, went back to my left over Proactive that night and it's starting to get better again, I felt like the 2 years of hard work I spent to get it pretty clear went down the drain so fast. |

| Bottom line | The exfoliating gel in this kit is beautiful, giving a fantastic even skin tone and the cleanser is also very good, however the spot gel did more or less nothing. The acne on my back and chest was cleared and stayed away with this set, but on my face the effect was less permanent. I'd say this is very good for clearing up anything hideous, but not something that should be used as a 'regular' preventative. It's also good for sensitive skin: Neutrogena tore skin off my face and back, but this product is gentle enough and non-drying enough to not bother me. |

| Bottom line | It brought out achne and I thought itw as going to clear up. But it never worked and I had to use neutrogena oil free achne wash instead. Which helped clear it up. |
