Murad sucks. My skin was slightly broken out when I started Murad 4 months ago and now I have the same huge deep pimples others have complained about. I dont even want to leave the house. Plus...its so expensive. I've gone back to proactiv and hopefully it'll fix the damage

I saw this one night while I was watching TV. I was using ProActiv at the time and it was working pretty good for me but it didn't completely clear up my skin even though it did improve my skin a lot. So, I ordered a pack of Murad's Acne Complex and I was pretty eager to try it out when I recieved it in the mail. I tried this out for about two weeks and the results are less satisfactory from what I got with ProActiv. I don't recommend this to people who have sensitive skin because this will burn you like there is no tomorrow! I have skin that could handle almost anything and it burned pretty bad the first couple of times I used this. You start to break out worse than ever because this is called the "purging stage" but it really didn't make me feel better that this massive amount of breaking out was natural when one starts to use this product. Discouraged, I discontinued use of it. With the help of the ProActiv system and it's refining mask, my skin was back in shape in a matter of days. Oh, and I forgot to mention that frankly the acne treatment gel smells really offensive. I would rather keep on using ProActiv.

this is ok, it did cause some white head pimples to pop up occasionally but i like the mask , it's pretty good. The treat and repair really stings ur face, but it's worth it, it didnt really cure my acne but kept it under control.

This product did not work for me. I'm in my early 20s and I've had moderate to severe acne since I was 13. I had been using Neutrogena on-the-spot treatment for quite a while (it had been working on and off for about 1.5 years) when I started using Murad. It made me skin worse at first and then got a little better and it stayed like that until I stopped using it about 3 months later. The cleanser was refreshing and made my skin feel soft. It didn't come with enough spot treatment. The exfoliating gel's fragrance was offensive and took a long time to dry. I liked the moisturizer enough to use it after I stopped the whole regimen but it doesn't have any sun protection. The whole regimen made my face feel a bit greasy. In general, products with benzoyl perozide work much better for me.

THis product works good. I think it is better than pro active. It made my skin break out in little bumps but it purges the skin. My skin looks refreshed. I did notice that before I stared using the product and was not using anything my skin was fine. Occasional break out from stress. I think it has to do with hormones in your body.

At first I was very excited: it seemed to work. But after about 2 weeks my skin got worse again. I stuck with it for about 1,5 month, hoping to see an improvement again. Instead, I started to have this weird deep pimples on my forehead (and before I've almost never had breakeouts there), that would never completely go away: they get smaller and then inflame again. I've seen the same comment on this page, so it must not uncommon side effect. So, I've stopped using Murad and it took me about 3 or 4 month to get rid of those annoying pimples.

God, this product SUCKS!!! I started using it after Proactiv stopped working for me. Well, the "Acne Complex" gave me clear skin for a week, then I started breaking out ALL over my face! Even in places where I'd never had pimples. And it freaking itches and burns when you put it on your face. It's horrible! Now I am left with pimples ALL over my face. Murad, I hate you!

Product works a little in a week, but after 2 weeks..WOOOWW CLEAR BABY CLEARRRRR!!!!

It made my acne worst. It gave me huge red painful zits all over my face. Ir gave me zits on places on my face that i never had before. I couldnt even go out thats how bad i looked. It irritates your skin instead of improving your acne and gives u more acne. Do not use this product. I tried it for about a month and it still did not work.

This stuff is AWFUL. Made me break out to no avail. My acne wasn't even bad to begin with. I honestly do not believe that a product should make your skin worse before it begins to show positive results. Either ProActiv or DermaRx would be better!
