| Bottom line | Murad cleared absolutely NONE of my pimples and I broke out even more! Salicylic acid has never worked for me, but I never thought it'd ever make things worse. And I'd believe the whole purging process explanation had Murad actually cleared up some of my old acne while "purging" the rest of my face by bringing up new acne. But it didn't get rid of anything. Benzoyl peroxide is the only over-the-counter stuff that has ever worked for me. |

| Bottom line | well, i used this product for about a year. instead of helping get rid of my acne, it made it even worse. now in the paper, it says that it's suppose to do that at first and then clear up your pimples. however, after breaking out horribly for a year, i had enough. |

| Bottom line | It made me way worse. Cystic acne began to pop up all over my face. I'm faired skinned so it scar even though I didn't pop my pimples. They say it gets worse before getting better (Plurging Process), it's a scam. |

| Bottom line | i've tried proactiv for 3-4 months and it was drying my face so i switched to murad acne complex. i did not experience the "purging" process. my face became better in the first few week and then it was all down hill from there. i've now used murad for 4 months and never lived a day without a white head(well i guess it's better to get white heads than deep zits). anyhow, i like the spot treatment, it works to some degree. i'm going to cancel my membership and go see a doctor cause i'm getting a lot more acne recently. murad does not work very well. |

| Bottom line | This is the only thing that has ever worked for my skin! I'm really surprised. My boyfriend has even started complimenting my skin... and that's a great feeling! Proactive, Clearasil... those did nothing but irritate and make my acne worse. I'm pretty happy with Murad... unlike a lot of the people on here. I like it. It must work for some people and not others? |

| Bottom line | I use the complex along with the dietary supplements. I also had a facial after using the product for a week, which enhanced the "purgin process" (unfortunately). but i stuck with it and also started using the neutrogena blush instead of nars (which i think was causing me to break out on my cheeks). basically my skin is starting to clear up but i am being left with redish-brown scars which are almost as annoying as the zits! it does take time to work... be patient and hopefully it will work for you too! | Cons | it is a bit itchy when i use the exfoliating acne treatment gel...so i don't use it too often.i used the soap and the rest of it. But i saw nothing but more acne that i usually never get "white tiny blackhead aroung my mouth" it sucks |

| Bottom line | I gave this system four months time thinking that the purging process would end, but it did not. I am a college student and I am sick at how much money I wasted on this system. Further... now that I have quit the system my face is breaking out even worse than before I started using Murad Acne Complex. I have moderate/severe acne (whiteheads and cysts) and I have found that salisylic acid doesn't help me. I feel that BP is my only hope. I have added an album on my member profile showing what I look like after Murad. Look for this same name "MissColleen". |
