Murad Acne Complex Reviews

This product did nothing for me. It is like using water. I then tried Proactiv - that one really worked.

bad stuff...i've been using it for four weeks now and my skin looks worse than it ever has. at first i thought it was a good sign that i was breaking out more. it meant that i was experiencing the "purging" stage and that murad was working its magic, gradually clearing my skin up. however, after four weeks, i think i should be seeing improvement, not regression. i want a product that will get rid of my pimples, not give me more in order to clear my skin up. it makes no sense...total bs. didn't work for my friend either, so i don't know why i even decided to try it.

The Murad Complex had no effect on the condition of my acne. Used it for well over a month too. Unfortunately due to this, I was too skeptical to try Proactiv for a few years. I am currently using Proactiv. It works much better than any other topical treatments I've tried--except for erythromycin. Unfortunately with Erythromycin, the bacteria developed a resistance to the treatment. I switched up my Proactiv cleanser for something that feels much better on my skin. (Proactiv cleanser feels like you're rubbing course sand into your face.) As a cleanser I'm currently using Shiseido Pureness Deep Cleansing Foam. Expensive as hell but leaves my skin feeling great :D

MY GOD SOMEONE HELP ME!! I BEEN USING PROACTIV FOR 2 MONTHS AND IT DOESNT WORK FOR ME SO I DECIDED TO SWITCH TO MURAD. MAN DOES THIS PRODUCT SUCKS!! I BROKE OUT WITH SO MANY WHITE HEADS I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT. AND IT HURTED SO BAD THAT I HAD TO POP THEM BECAUSE A SLIGHT TOUCH OF THESE LITTLE WHITEHEADS MAKES ME WANT TO CRY. NOW I HAVE HORRIBLE SCARING AND PAINFUL CROCODILE LIKE SKIN. THE WORST IS THAT I CANT EVEN SLEEP ON MY PILLOW WITHOUT IT HURTING AND I GET WHITEHEADS UNDER MY NECK!!! YUCK!! DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT!! RETURN IN IF YOU STILL CAN. THIS WHOLE PURGIN CRAP IS A SCAM.

It started out great the first 2 weeks then..all of the sudden BOOOMM my face was damedged..i called murad and they said my skin was "purging" well the reality is..YOUR SKIN IS NOT PURGING!! THEY WANT YOU TO FEEL THAT YOU HAVE TO KEEP USING THIS PRODUCT SO WHEN YOU RUN OUT YOU WOULD KEEP BUYING AND THEY WOULD MAKE MORE MONEY!! "PURGING" IS MURADS "COVER UP"

THIS PRODUCT MAKES YOU ILL!! ITS POISION !! POISON!!! SOMEONE NEEDS TO SUE THIS DR. MURAD..I BET HES NOT EVEN A DOCTOR..HES A SCAMMM!!!

I've been prescribed Minocycline and many creams and only the antibiotics ever worked. I had to stop taking them so I tried Pure Perfection (like Proactiv) and it was alright but I decided to switch to Murad. I've used it for about 5 months and my skin is much worse now then it was when I was using Proactiv. I'm getting whiteheads around my mouth and on my chin (I used to rarely get pimples here) and they hurt! I do not recommend this product to anyone.

I HATE MURAD!!!!!! I have tried many OTC acne treatments, but still experienced a few breakouts,nothing too major. I tried Proactiv, but wasn't too happy with it, so I decided to try Murad. IT SUCKS!!!!!!! I tried it for over three months, and my skin broke out like crazy. It was very embarrassing. My skin had not looked like that since I was an adolescent and first started breaking out. I thought it would just take some time to work, but finally I felt I coulnd't live like that anymore, and went back to an OTC product. I use the Neutrogena acne-prone skin bar soap, and it is finally helping my skin clear up. Bottom line -- DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON MURAD. IT WILL RUIN YOUR SKIN. I an so grateful to read these message boards and realize I'm not the only one with this awful experience.

Not worth the money. Made my acne much worse and my fce became very dry and irritated.

Worked well at first but then stopped.
