| Cons | Absolutely EVERYTHING!!!!! I used to LOVE taking pictures. Like literally, I'd jump at the chance to take a pic, but NOW, I REFUSE to step foot in front of a camera. I just feel so ugly!! Murad has SHATTERED the self confidence I once had. |
| Bottom line | WARNING WARNING!! Murad "acne complex" is complete and utter CRRR-AP!!!! I've been reading the rest of these reviews and I say all 98% of us who HATE this product should ban together and sue the crap out of this "company". Before Murad, I tried proactiv...and I honestly, never should have stopped. Looking back now, Proactiv was a savior compared to Murad! Murad has ruined my skin, my face, my self confidence - everything. UGH. It is horrid for the following reasons: - The so called "purging" does NOT last 2 weeks as noted. It goes on and on...and on!! I held out hope thinking that it was just different for me, but NO. THe purging has left my skin red, swollen, and completely broken out (in places i NEVER broke out before!) - It stinks! - It's left my face scarred all over my cheeks and jawline. I'm to the point where I refuse to put my hair up. I think that by covering my scars w/ my hair or with makeup, that its doing something...but one look in the mirror proves |

| Pros | At first I liked the idea that this product was not tested on animals and that it was an alternative to proactive. |

| Bottom line | I started with the standard Murad Acne Complex kit, and saw no results what so ever. However with the sensitive Acne Complex Kit (different product from Murad) I am seeing more results. I am on week 2/3 and I one more week (4th week) before it completely clears my acne. I don't care for the PureSkin supplements or the bodyspray and body wash, acne on the body is allot easier to get of than facial acne. I am now done with the purging process. Now its clearing. The standard Acne Complex Kit burned my face and completely ruined it. But ever since switching kits, my skin has made a positive response to it. So its a matter of days of clearing the acne. I am looking forward to more week, then I'm clear! Yay. I would recommend this product, but please use it with patience- nothing works over nigh unless its a mask. But if its a regimen, please wait. Acne is one of those things... But not for log for me! After clearing the acne, I will use Murad's Acne Scar Kits |

| Bottom line | I got this product because the girl at Sephora said it would help clear my moderate acne and that it was extremely gentle. Boy, was she wrong!! My face has never been this bad. I usually only have 1 or 2 noticeable pimples, plus a few smaller ones on my forehead. At this time, I have 5 huge ones in places I NEVER break out... plus my whole face is covered in small bumps, almost like a rash. Luckily, Sephora is letting me return this crap and get my money back! Don't use this product, you'll regret it!! I wish I read these reviews before buying it! |
