Murad Acne Complex Reviews

Murad is definitely not worth the money. It does not improve acne, in fact in most cases it makes it worse. I would not recommend buying it. It may work for those who have severe acne, but if you don't, I wouldn't use it as it is too harsh.

Like most everybody on this board, Murad really destroyed my face. Got suckered in by the nice package and marketing. After using this for a couple months, I had to go on accutane to fix my face and still healing the scars.

Bought this for both my brother and I. It made us both break out worse after a month without improvement. The face wash and lotion are okay on their own but the whole pacakge is pretty terrible.

This product did not work for me at all. I used this product for about a week and my face became horrible. I know it says it's supposed to get worse but trust me you would of stopped if it was. It probably works for some people but not me.

I used Proactiv for 8 months and it worked really great in clearing up my skin...except it really dried my face. I decided to switch over to Murad because I heard it was gentler because the active ingredient (salicylic acid) was easier on the skin than benzoyl peroxide. Murad worked for about 2 weeks...after that...nothing. I started developing pimples on my forehead and cheeks again. I stuck with it for two whole months and saw no improvement. I recently switched to Klear Action (similar to Proactiv) and already within one week, I noticed a difference.

The products were useless in acne control. The sulfur stuff smelled abominable and the odor would linger after vigorous, vigorous washing.

This is the worst product I have ever purchased. It turned my moderate acne to severe and I had to stop after the 30 days were up... I couldn't chance it making my skin any worse. When I stopped using it, my skin began to improve. This product was a waste of thirty dollars and my time.

I have been using Murad for about 4 weeks and am happy with how it is going. To begin with, my skin did feel irritated and started to peel, I almost stopped using it but I decided to give it a proper go.

My skin is now used to the product, I am almost completely acne free (I am also taking Yasmin contraceptive pill), my skin feels a lot softer and smoother and the colour looks a lot more even (past scarring and pigmentation discolouration has faded already).

I thing the secret is not to use too much of the exfoliating gel (a little goes a long way) and I have now started taking the clarifying supplement too.

I tried this product it is awful. Use acnefree its much cheaper and works wonders. Better than proactiv.

Murad is the worst thing that ever happened to my skin. I had mild acne before I started using it but now I break out in place where I had never had pimples like my cheeks, and jaw. It's so disgusting and I have been dealing with the problem for 4 months now (I started using murad during the summer). It's so bad that sometimes makeup isn't enough and I refuse to go out like this. Sometimes my skin looks like it's gonna cleap up a little but then I start breaking out again. I tried using Proactiv but it doesn't work for me anymore! This is horrible.... I think I'm just gonna go to a dermatologist.
