| Pros | It works! |
|---|---|
| Cons | Still get the random break out every once in a while, price. |
| Bottom line | For the first month, I was pissed off that the murad product had made my skin break out even more. BUT... i continued to use it for a bit over a month, just to follow through with my $50.00 investment, and, after my skin recovered from the initial beating, I was clear for weeks and weeks. I looked into this, and it seems whenever a new product is used on the skin, your face goes through a purging of all the hidden dirt in the pores. now, my face is SO much clearer than it was. This stuff isn't perfect, like most things in this world, and i do get the occasional break out of a MINOR few pimples around once a month (which I sure is due to hormones). Sucks being a teen, but this def softens the degradation acne has on self confidence. |

| Pros | There aren't any!!!!! |
|---|---|
| Cons | This horrible product SEVERELY damaged my skin after promising results. THe gel burned my skin and left behind tons of scars. A customer service agent said that 4 weeks of purging is normal, not!!! |
| Bottom line | DO NOT TRY THIS PRODUCT, IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY!!!! |

| Pros | it comes in a cute little package and smells good |
|---|---|
| Cons | didn't work on my skin... and very expensive. |
| Bottom line | im not sure if my skin is just nonresponsive to salicylic acid, but it didn't do a thing for me. it seems to be alright for some people if salicylic acid works for you. |

| Pros | Alas,the are no pros. |
|---|---|
| Cons | It brought up High Hopes and definitely did not deliver. |
| Bottom line | the product is absolute rubbish.I am not one to give heed to infomercials especially on skin clearing solutions.I bought it when breakouts occurred on my face a few months after using retin-A and Duac gel. I wanted my skin to be clear again as i saw my confidence level plummet, so I thought this was a solution. I purchased it at Ulta salon store. The woman at the desk was nice enough. Ultimately I was persuaded that this would work for me. I used it diligently, but to no avail. Both my sister and I suffered embarrasing breakouts and my mum's questionig glances at our reddened skin propelled her to go back to the salon. An esthetician assured us that thats how it works.I was reluctant to take it back, still believing that it might work. but it was inevitable. I returned it and got my blasted money back. I doing much better without it by eating healthier, and hopefully i will become vegan. Very long story short do not buy this. |

| Pros | nice website. customer service responded. |
|---|---|
| Cons | purging contintued for 5 weeks. i've finally given up on the product. it's expensive too. |
| Bottom line | I was on ProActiv but my friend highly recommended Murad because it worked well for her so i right away went out and purchased it. I started to 'purge' and their customer service said it should end in a couple days to a couple weeks. however after five weeks, my acne was literally at its WORST. i hadn't had such bad acne around my mouth ever. my skin has started to clear up since i've been off it and now im taking minocyclin. this product worked for my friend, her mom, and this random guy at the sephora place. im not trying to be racist, but they were all white (maybe this works for just white people? certain skin types?) i honestly dont know. but i wish the people at murad had jus told me to return the product if it wasn't going to work instead of telling me to just wait and follow some instructions that did nothing. please dont waste your time or money on this product. |

| Pros | None |
|---|---|
| Cons | Was worse than proactiv. |
| Bottom line | This product is horrible, the infomercials make you think It'll be better and less irritating than proactiv, but It's even harsher. I highly recommend people to not use either products. |

| Pros | Pretty packaging... instantly drawn to it while I was shopping at Sephora |
|---|---|
| Cons | This product sucks. |
| Bottom line | The packing is crap... nothing but a marketing scam. Murad did not make my skin any better. If anything, it made it much much worse. My skin broke out in monsterous zits on my cheeks and chin. Horrible product and a waste of money |
