| Bottom line | I have very light acne, and I've tried EVERYTHING on the market. I breakout all the time and it bothers me a lot. I also suffer from discolorations and acne scars which I'm extremely self-conscious about. I first saw Murad Acne Complex on TV, and it caught my attention, but I was pretty skeptical at first, but I was willing to try it. I eventually bought it a couple months later. When I first used it, it cleared my breakouts fast, and gave my skin a special glow. A couple days later, I started breaking out. I didn't panic because I read that it increases acne as the first step. My breakouts went away in a matter of days and it lightened some of my discolorations and acne scars. I'm pretty satisfied with the results it gives me so far. In just three easy steps, it cleared my breakouts and lightened my brown spots. It also doesn't dry out my skin, which is a thumbs up. Murad helped my skin and I'm going to continue using it. I've been using Murad for a week now and so far it's the best acne treatment I've used, definetly better than Proactiv and Clearasil. Bottom line is I recommend it to anyone with light acne, don't freak out if you breakout at first! It will clear up and give you an breakout free face :) |

| Bottom line | I used to have pretty bad cystic acne, bad enough to tturn heads and people would ask what was wrong with me. I saw murad on tv and gave it a try and it worked! Used it for about four years and loved it. Couldn't afford it anymore so I stoped using it for 8 months until I started to break out just recently. This time it only worked for the first week then stoped! I seriously think they changed the formula...murad used to put a piece of paper in the box that would state each product name and the ingritients in it. Well they don't do it anymore so somethings up! I still like the acne complex face wash and lotion but that it. |

| Bottom line | Did clear up acne in 3 days. Mine was not severe. On the second day got huge rash on lower face and neck because of the kit. Returned it to sephora, but still left with horrible rash that dried up my face and it seems like i am beginning to break out again. :( |

| Cons | When I would first use it my skin got a nice healthy glow, but after a while it made my skin more oily. (you could feel the oils when you touched it, and my face would look real greasy) Acne got worse and didn't clear up. Whenever I used it my acne would become more obvious. |

| Bottom line | I used this product for the four weeks it suggested it would take to clear my face. Well, it kind of cleared my face, but it left it dry, red, and in pain. The acne wasn't really going away so I returned it when they sent me the larger samples. BOTTOM LINE: This product is TOO expensive for how poorly it performed. |

| Cons | like the other reviews stated, i had fairly light acne before i started this regime. now i actually have huge bumps all over my forehead! (i never got pimples on my forehead before), cheeks, and even chin. my acne is the worse its been ever... (and i've tried ALOT of acne regimes) and its also the reddest its been (my skin is fairly sensitive as well). |

| Cons | More breakouts than before. The only spots where your skin is soft and glowy is where you don't have a whitehead or a pimple- which isn't much. |
| Bottom line | When I first started using this product, I had very light acne. As soon as I started it, my skin got very sensitive and I broke out more than I had ever before. It was horrible. I was getting more breakouts and lots of whiteheads. I even got a couple of cystic pimples, which I had never experienced before. Before I knew it, I had full-blown acne. I read that acne gets worse before it gets better- and OHMAN, does it get worse. I went through with the whole packet, hoping that when I finished the whole thing the acne would go away. It's been three months and my acne never went away. It only got worse. My face is very irritated and it hurts when I touch it. I have since stopped using the product and will see if I can get any medical attention. I can honestly say that Murad is by far the worst acne product out there. I don't recommend it. |
