| Bottom line | IT MADE MY ACNE WORSE. I NEVER BROKE OUT AS MUCH. I HAD MY OCCASIONAL ACNE. AND A SMALL BREAKOUT DURING THE WINTERTIME AND DECIDED TO GIVE MURAD A TRY SINCE IT SEEMED AS THOUGH IT WORKED. BUT ONCE I USED IT, IT TURNED MY ACNE INTO SEVERE ACNE. EFF THAT! THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE WORSE PRODUCT IVE EVER USED. IT MADE ME BREAKOUT ALL OVER MY CHEEKS WHICH I'VE NEVER HAD BEFORE!! I USED IT FOR THE 3 WEEKS SINCE IT SAID I WOULD HAVE TO GO THROUGH A PURGING SYSTEM IN ORDER TO REMOVE IT. BUT THATS SOME B.S!!! |

| Cons | The Lotion smells like old Elmer's glue. The acne treatment bottle is tiny as hell! Plus it makes you break out more! IT DOESN'T WORK AT ALL!!!! |
| Bottom line | This product is a piece of sh*t! It should not be on the market. This product made my mild acne explode into severe acne on places I had never ever ever had pimples on before. I suffer from mostly under the skin acne on my nose and forehead, but after using this crap product I got several white heads (30-40 on each side)on my cheeks! I rarely used to get any sort of pimples on my cheeks so I was horrified and I promptly discontinued the product. After a few months (and I switch BACK to proactiv) my face STILL hasn't fully recovered! The blemishes are very slowly going away, unlike before I started using Murad. My pores remained severely clogged after this product though they are getting better. I will NEVER recommend this product to anyone! |

| Cons | SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS! This product is way too freakin expensive, it took forever to clear up any pimples I had, it made me get HUGE cystic pimples that scarred my skin, and it just plain didn't work after using it for 4 months. Purge process is a lie! |
| Bottom line | The bottom line is that the Dr. Murad acne system is HORRIBLE. Do not buy this unless you think you are a part of the 1% of people this works for. I still can't get over the price of this stuff and how little the actual treatment container is. Geez. Just don't do it people. Don't! |

| Cons | Purging process is complete BS. Contains Talc to control shine - A known skin irritatant and acnegenic ingredient for sensitive skin. Creates more problems than it helps. Did nothing to clear my skin. i too got the cystic |
| Bottom line | Separately all of these ingredients are good for acne, less the talc. However, I think that when combined all of these ingredients are just too much for the skin. Glycolic Acid, Retinol, Salycilic Acid, Algae Extract, and Tea Tree I believe. It causes adverse reactions in the skin and in many cases cystic legions. I also noticed during this that i started to get irritation bumps on the side of my face. I also don't believe this is just a purging process due to the fact that I used this product for 3-4 months so murad is totally BS-ing. Honestly i've seen better results from walmart brands. Save your money and try dermalogica, skin ceuticals, or nucelle. |

| Bottom line | This kit SUCKED! (For me anyhow) It dried my face out so bad-my lips even got chapped & the product was not even applied in that area. My breakouts just got WORSE!! The breakouts were painful & itchy (not to mention DEPRESSING) My face was severely irritated, it took almost 3 weeks for my face to finally calm down. Definitely not recommended for someone with dry skin. Some folks swear by this kit-but in my opinion, the people who have said this look like their skin is excessively dry-not a good look. I am very dissatisfied. |

| Bottom line | It all really depends on the person. It worked for me, but it wasn't 100% clear. I still had a few things pop in here and there and the irony of it all was that when I actually had to go out somewhere, my face wouldn't be as clear as it would be earlier that week. And it happens everytime I have an event to go to. I would recommend this, but I'd have to say that you be cautious. 'Cause it might work for some. I started using the during fall of 07' up til spring of this year. And til this day, my face isn't exactly cleared, but it doesn't give me bad breakouts. |

| Bottom line | I was curious about murad myself after reading many reviews..and it seemed like only murads actual website was the only place saying it actually worked. But I still bought it and now I feel VERY ripped off. The stuff isnt cheap, and to me it works as well as something you'd buy at a drugstore. NOT VERY WELL. I was actually mixing the kit with a b.p. compound my dermatologist gave me and I had horrific results. I got severe open acne all of a sudden that I couldnt get rid of. My face was itchy , red and irritated. I stopped it right away after a month and actually tried it again this past week with NO b.p. (cuz the kit isnt cheap! i hate to through it out right?! ha) But again my face was really itchy and it actually made my lips really burn. So it will go in the trash now.. :) |

| Bottom line | This product really stinks!!! About 3 weeks ago I started noticing my acne was getting a little bit worse than it normally does, I had seen Murads advertisment on T.V. & it sounded convincing to me, so I thought why not. The first week it cleared my acne only a little bit, the second week I noticed I had acne on places of my face that I had never had before ever, I thought it was strange, but thought that maybe it might be from something else. The third week I noticed it was just getting worse & worse. My chin & forehead are completely covered in acne, I used to have mild acne & this crap has given me acne in places I've never had it...not just a little either. I would not recommend this to anyone, its a load of bull. |
