Pros: Light, refreshing, no dyes, works fairly quickly Cons: Not so natural ingredients, a bit time consuming Bottom Line: There are a lot of bad reviews on this product. Honestly, I have not had a bad experience with this product. Everyone's skin, daily habits, diets, circumstances, etc. are different and all these factors will influence whether a product works for you or not. It's worth a shot if you are looking for a new product to try because your old ones aren't working. If you're already on an anti-acne treatment kit/routine and switching over to Murad's, it would probably be wise to give your skin a break in-between or introduce the new products gradually. I tried to go the natural route when controlling my acne and had very little success. I still eat very well, exercise and try to keep my stress levels low, but sometimes you just need some extra help. Murad has helped to take away the stress and low self esteem that acne can cause. Pros: -Made Skin soft -Easy to read instructions -Works Wonders with acne Cons: -Still will have a breakout every once in a while and doesn't remove blackheads sufficiently -Will dry out your skin at first if lotion isn't applied properly -YOU WILL BREAKOUT IN THE FIRST MONTH OK???? Bottom Line: Murad is my REligion. Before I began using Murad I used Proactive, which was ok, but didn't seem to do the job, still giving me breakouts, and REALLY dry skin. So I switched over to Murad near Christmas in 07 and WOW! Even the bumps under my bangs and around my hairline, Murad got! The only problem is it didn't sufficiantly remove blackheads, and another thing, if you arn't switching over from an 'effective' cleanser then YOU WILL BREAK OUT, because it's taking out the dirt from your pores. But if you have patience and use the prduct as instructed YOU WILL HAVE AMAZING RESULTS!!! Recommended: Yes Usage: JUST2LETUKNOW has used this item for about a year. Pros: the Lotion is nice and the face wash used to give my face that fresh feeling however it doesn't anymore...even skin tone now after stop of constant use for about a month or two. Cons: it stings, makes more come up, reddens face, thins my skin. Bottom Line: not worth it for those with thin skin or sensive skin like they claim. i used to use the whole three steps everyday till i couldn't stand the fact that i looked like a tomato and used the face wash only at night, but then the exfoliating thing really isn't making any pimples go away or anything i still break out a lot so i don't think it's worth it on my skin. Pros: the cleanser made skin feel cleaner Cons: F**KING PIMPLES EVERRRRRRYWHEREEEEE Bottom Line: I F**KIN HATE MURAD WHAT AN AWFUL COMPANYY LIANG TO CUSTOMERS AND MAKING THEM FEEL WORSE THEN THEY ALREADY FEEEL ok so first my skin had occasional break outs on one cheek and on my chin now its EVERYWHERE ITS NASTYYY my selfesteem is really low i feel like a butter face cause i have a nice body but my pimples just ruin me when guys come up to me i feel so insicure about my face and its THE WORSE i got all these little pimples every single place and these big cysty ones on my cheeks my face f**king HURTS like hell AND UGHH i hate this f**kin feeling i was so excited for this f**kin product but i cant believe the results this is so devastating :( Recommended: No Usage: RIP OFF has used this item for about a month. Pros: n/a Cons: n/a Bottom Line: I just started useing murad for about 4 days now and sofar its makeing my face look like how it did when i used proactive the zits on my face are starting to get red and starting to SHINE RED and im starting to brakeout all over my face I hope its not destroying good bacteria on my face! Pros: nothing Cons: expensive, just takes out your pimples, whiteheads, and makes it stay there.it does nothing to reduce it. Bottom Line: its not really a great product. its expensive and doesnt really help. ive taken it day and night for 2 months straight and no effect. and the sulfur acne spot treatment smells a little and burns ur face a little. it doesnt even help. i apply that 3 times a day and the acne spot is still there.it used to be light acne now its all the way to moderate. Pros: Helps with blemishes, enlarged pores, the lotion gives your skin this velvety smooth feeling. Cons: It smells a little, the spot treatment somewhat burns. Bottom Line: This product to me is amazing. I used proactive a couple of years back but the results was taking too long. I was referred to Murad about a couple of months ago by my gynecologist and i was real sceptible taking that some of the reviews that was given but i said what the heck. So I went to the bath and body works and bought the 60 day kit for 60 dollars.(got a ring to it huh.) anyway i started using it immediately, its been 4 days and already my pores have shrunk as they were real enlarged before, and some of my blemishes have healed up already! I have to say that is amazing. I think that everyones skin is different and things that may work on some may work differently on others. I would recommend this product to those who wouldn't mind trying something different cause you never know who it may well for and who it won't, not every product work perfect! Pros: Drastically reduced the size of my cystic acne, gave my skin an awesome glow - even with makeup applied - felt clean, but not overly clean. Consistant!! Cons: yes, it has the occasional random TINY pimples/whiteheads, exfoliating gel is a bit tacky. Can be expensive if you order it straight from Murad. Bottom Line: I ordered this off of an infomercial thinking, "what the hell, I've tried everything else!" I honestly never experienced the major "purging" aspects of this line -I guess everything works differently for everyone. I did think that the exfoliating gel was a bit tacky, and didn't smell that great, although I did notice once I put the lotion on it felt so smooth. I stopped using it after 6 months secondary to my everlasting need to find an ultimate cure. Boy do I wish I NEVER stopped it! I broke out soooo bad using something else it literally HURT (tea tree oil line). I begged my friend for my Murad back -I gave it to her and it cleared her excema. ONE DAY later my face was almost back to the way it was before I stopped. Cyctic acne -GONE. It actually calmed it.I am now using the Energizing Pomegranate line with the T-zone treatment in the morning, Acne line at night. Try it...stick with it. Pros: nothing Cons: f**k Bottom Line: I only used the claifying cleanser I never really had acne but i used to any way after i stopped using it my face broke out like crazy and still is Dont buy it : '( now that i have acne i feel llike sh*t. Pros: NOTHING!!!!!!!!!! Cons: EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!! Bottom Line: This was the worst product I have ever used, make me break out like never before with a vengence. Turned my spots into deep blisters. Has taken months to get skin back to normal and now have scars. Also, this is scary stuff. Look at the cosmetics database website, it gives the kit a 9 out of 10 in terms of harzards of ingredients.
