It works but it does not remove scars the infamorcial lied.
It took about 5 months to work for me. I guess it depends on your skin type.

if i could give this product a negative score in every category i would. it's horrible. it said that i would initially break out for the first few weeks but after two months, i never stopped breaking out. the face wash felt good but the gel really burned. the moisturizer was ok but my face got really greasy later in the day and the combination of all three of these products together does nothing but cause breakouts.

My expirience with Murad is different from most of those I've read here.
I have mild/moderate acne (probably hormonal, cause it gets worse a week before my periods), primarily on the chin, around the mouth and along the jawline. I get occasional pimples on the forehead and the neck.
I've used Murad for a month and my skin feels better then ever. No miracle, however - it didn't clear me up completely. But overall my complection is better: I have less breakouts and the ones I have heal faster. And, unlike many people claim, Murad didn't overdry my skin.
I bought the kit at the local Sephora (30$) and it lasted me a little more then a month. So I wouldn't say that it's so incerdibly expensive - 1$ a day :)
I don't use the cleanser from the kit, instead I use a gentle foaming cleanser (Biotherm). But I use the treatment gel, moisterizer and spot treatment.
I would say, the effectiveness of this product depends on the type of acne you have and your skin's tolerance to Murad's ingredients.
It worked for me.

I wasnt pleased with the product nor with the customer service. The person was nice but not willing to give me the guranteed refund. Skin became very tight and dry and then very oily after a few hours. Skin started breaking out more and became more red. UGH! Will anything ever work?!

Oh where to start... I bought this product after seeing its Tv add (very convincing.) After using murad for the first 5 weeks, i was happy, for one day. Every day after that day, my acne has gotten worst, sometimes, I skip school because the product just keeps making me breakout, its ridiculous. If you are one to believe TV adds, DONT, i've used stuff at wal mart that works better than this

I was convinced by the persuasive advertisement I had seen on T.V. After trying this product for about a month I have more acne than I have ever had before and my skin is so IRRITATED! I will attempt to return this and I guess try yet another thing......

I agree with one of the previous posts. " I think I counted like 15 HUGE whiteheads along with the other small white/pale bumps on my face. I even got acne on my forehead; never had a single pimple in over 8 years on my forehead! " Wow, i thought the pale bumps were actually a part of process... i guess not. i am really ticked off... I am going to return the package i haven't opened up yet and buy new stuff. i have an interview tomorrow and my acne looks pretty bad...

GREAT!!! Especially the sulpher mask. But the cleanser, and everything is wonderful!!!

The product was Ok, but not worth the money. I did not get the results I wanted. The lotion made my skin feel better. With other products my skin was always very dry! However, the pimples just would not go away, especially my nose. Outbreaks were less severe. I have been using the product about five months. Perhaps my pores are too damaged for anything to really work. I've had acne for such a long time-about 30 years! I'm currently looking at other surveys on this web site to see what else is available, and what people like me are saying about the product(s).

this product really really SUCKS!!!! not worth your money...it is very expensive (about $250 a month for the whole [censored])..i used it for 3 months ..the entire line...and they just made my skin worse than ever...it stings sooo bad...made my face dry, flaky and caused more breakouts...after applying all the [censored] in the morning and evening you feel like a frying pan cuz its sticky, oily and then it hurts a lot...and then after a while it dries your skin and it really really hurts like hell...and then if you take the oral medicine it makes your pee smell really bad...after using it for like 3 weeks, my skin improved for a day...and i thought it was working...WRONG!!! after that, it was scaly, flaky, dry, and the acne plus the the scars are still there...DO NOT USE it and save your face and money!!!
