God, this product SUCKS!!! I started using it after Proactiv stopped working for me. Well, the "Acne Complex" gave me clear skin for a week, then I started breaking out ALL over my face! Even in places where I'd never had pimples. And it freaking itches and burns when you put it on your face. It's horrible! Now I am left with pimples ALL over my face. Murad, I hate you!

It made my acne worst. It gave me huge red painful zits all over my face. Ir gave me zits on places on my face that i never had before. I couldnt even go out thats how bad i looked. It irritates your skin instead of improving your acne and gives u more acne. Do not use this product. I tried it for about a month and it still did not work.

This stuff is AWFUL. Made me break out to no avail. My acne wasn't even bad to begin with. I honestly do not believe that a product should make your skin worse before it begins to show positive results. Either ProActiv or DermaRx would be better!

Murad sucks. I had faith for about four months just telling myself that it's just working it's magic. That was a month ago and I have since returned to Proactiv which is currently cleaning up the mess that that Murad BS left me with.

I was very glad when I got my first shipment and I had high hopes and a positive attitude towards Murad. I used it regularly and was surprise by the non-medication scent aswell as the clearness of the actual product. My first week I broke out but the packages always say it gets worse before it gets better (I"m starting to think that is a hoax). Well it never got any better, in fact I got the worse breakouts, my face was so sensitive, dry, and red ..it was quite embarrasing. Still I didn't want to give up so I continued using Murad until I almost used it all up. The end result was horrific and it's been two months since I stopped using it and am still fighting the Murad Wrath.

Well, it has been around 3-4 months on the Murad system and while the initial acne I had was huge and sore and finally left, but I continue to have breakouts. I was on Accutane when I was in my early 20's and that did the trick. But I just started breaking out again about 7 months ago. So, I tried this Murad stuff after extensive research and the OK from my wife. Well, the initial acne got smaller and less sore but it still took the regular amount of time to dissipate. I continue to breakout. It seems as if I will have 1-3 days of improving skin and then BLAM! I am slammed by more zits. I am seriously thinking about returning it and ending my "club" membership. Maybe I will try Dan's regimen. After all, I have tried Proactiv and this crap to no avail.

It felt GREAT on the first day. And then I start breaking out like crazy. I wanted to ignore it but one month of breaking out is just too much for me.

I have moderate bumpy acne and have tried heaps of products to get rid of the little ##%&$5% but nothing worked. My dermo put me on this and even though I only been on it for 1 week my bumps seem to be drying up and my complextion is evening out. I'm on the face treatment and the vitamin pill things. I'm thinking I might only use the face treatment as the pills are like $99 here in NZ and I can't really afford them. Anyway I got a months treatment so will see how my acne is at the end of the course.

I think that because everyone has different skin you have to expect the murad acne kit will work for some and not for others. I've only been using this product for 3 days and my skin is purging but no worse than when I have a bad break-out. the active ingredients in Murad i.e. salycilic acid and glycolic acid are pretty intense and it's natural for your skin to take time to get used to them. I've been getting glycolic washes once a fortnight for about 6 months and the beautician started me on a low strength and has gradually built to a higher strength. if you are not used to these acids and have never used them before your skin will react quite dramatically. I think people with dry or combination skin should go for a kit suited to more sensitive skins.
