| Bottom line | I was drawn to the success stories of the late-night infomercials. I ordered this product and eagerly waited for it. I was warned that there might be a bad IB, but I was prepared. When the IB occured, I figured my skin was ridding itself of all the gunk, and beautiful skin awaited me. Boy, was I wrong. The IB turned into a two-week long ordeal. The pimples eventually went away, but I was left with painful cystic acne. This product did NOT work. On top of that, I was apparently enrolled in the "auto order" program and therefore I had three boxes of it in my bathroom. I had to call and cancel. I wouldn't waste my money on another Murad product again. |

| Cons | made my skin breakout the 2nd-3rd week of using it and brought them to white heads that i had to pick at but the moisturizer and spot treatment heals it fast also the gel stings the first couple weeks but it lessened as my skin got clearer. |
| Bottom line | I LOVE THIS STUFF! i used proactiv for years but it stopped working for me.. murad got rid of all my little underground bumps on my forehead and cleared my chin up. the first week it did some clearing, but the 2nd/3rd my face was bad (also because i break out before my period) so i was expecting it to anyway. i had gross white heads on my chin that i had to pick at- but the sulfur spot treatment healed them within 2 days. its the 4th week and i am so happy with the results. my skin is clear and i cant believe. i recommend this to anyone with skin that doesnt take to benzoyl peroxide. murad uses sulfur (love it) and salicyic acid. try it and give it atleast 4-5 weeks. i hope it works for you :o) |

| Bottom line | I have had acne since I was 14 and I am still having to struggle with it even now being almost 20! Bottom line is topicals that are endorsed by celebrities on TV do not work for people who have moderate to severe acne. Systems like Murad and Proactiv give off the impression that they are going to solve your acne problems for good but the reality is that your best bet is visiting a dermatologist. Murad DOES NOT work! I used it religiously for 6 weeks with no improvement and my skin actually got worse. I can tell you that the oral medication called Solodyn worked wonders but using it over a long period of time can cause liver damage as any oral medication can but my results from that were amazing! I'm on once a day Epiduo, which is a prescribed topical gel from my dermatologist and I've only been using it for two days so I can't review it yet. But for all the gorgeous girls and handsome boys out there struggling with skin problems you're wasting your money with Murad because it doesn't work. I encourage you to visit a doctor and stay positive! Acne is so disappointing so why waste your money on one more product that is going to disappoint? Your acne will go away, but Murad is not the cure! |

| Pros | LOVED IT!.... you can actually feel it work instantanely.... I RECOMEND IT 100%... you need to try it for a few weeks first because not every product have the same effect in everyone.. I go every 6 months to a dermatologist and i belive the best results ive ever had, are with the MURAD KIT... amazing! |

| Cons | Burns to put on my face. Have tried at least 10 other acne products and was hoping this would be the last. I have only been using this product for about a week and it has made my acne much worse. Before i started using this i really barely had any acne, and now after just a week there is acne all over my face. |

| Bottom line | DO NOT ORDER MURAD OR TRY IT. The worst Aspects 1. The company is shady. i ordered one kit and they charged my credit card 3 times, then again for hte next month for another 3 kits, for a total of 6 kits. THe reason: the first time, the order didnt go through. So i decided okay, guess its my credit card, so i used a different one, failed again, then another different credit card, then the orders all magically went through. If you return it they only refund you 35, when you pay 45. so i lost 60 and wasted lots of time going to the post office. 1. it doesnt work, at least for me. im medium oil skin. my face got really red and i followed thier regimen religiously for 4 weeks. 2. its about the same as proactive. Pro active worked for me in college, but then i stopped cuz it got all better, and then came back. 3. The only thing good is the clay mask, that was nice and helped a little. |

| Bottom line | Don't get it - you would be better off buying a bag of raw bacon and rubbing THAT on your face than getting this crap - at least bacon won't BURN. Seriously, you don't even know how much this stuff burns. Oh, it's not so bad for the first few days, but it builds, and builds, and BUILDS, until you're eyes are streaming with tears from the pain and you need to wash the stuff off again. I don't even CARE if this stuff works - nothing should hurt this much. Also, this stuff causes immortal white-heads. They would come onto my face for a visit, then invite friends, until a whole colony had made themselves a very painful home on my upper lip. I got sick of it, and tried to pop them - BIG MISTAKE. They GREW BACK the next day, bigger than ever, except now they were crusty. I haven't been able to shave for 2 weeks now, and I am afraid to talk to people face to face. I have used all of these ingredients before, and NEVER had this awful of a reaction. |

| Bottom line | For the first two days, I thought "Wow, this is really going to work". My skin seemed to glow, and I seemed like it was clearing up. The next day I woke up with like huge, hard, big, red bumps on my cheeks. They are the worst they have ever been. I have little bumps all over my my forehead---when it was completely clear before. I went from having mild acne to severe acne in less than a week. I'm just going to stop using it before I get horrible scars because I scar so easily. They tell you your skin is going to "purge" just so they can get money from you, this product is just terrible. I wish I would have never used it. |
