| Bottom line | I had a bad breakout that included cystic acne when I used the "regular" line or products. I returned those products and asked about a "sensitive" line...which they had but hadn't told me about when I called the first time. Frustrating! The sensitive line works fairly well for me. Less redness, no cystic acne but I still have pimples. I'm 49-years-old, have had acne all my life and still haven't found a solution. I'll keep using Murad until I find something better. |

| Cons | It made my acne way worse than what it was...it was mild before now it is severe. It was way too harsh on my skin and made my have terrible acne that actually caused pain to my face. The products smelled horrific and took forever to go through the process. I understand that acne medicine is supposed to make your skin as Murad would phrase it "purge" but there is a fine line between small breakouts and causing SEVERE ACNE. |
| Bottom line | Bottom line is that this is my first blog and the only reason I went as far as to create an account and take time writing a blog is because I am very disgusted in this product. I have used everything as expensive as Proactiv with the mask included to as cheap of products as ones you could buy at a local store. I am so mad that I spent my valuable money on such a waste as Murad. I am very upset with myself and whatever genius invented it (sarcasm). Really the reason I am writing this is because I wish I would have read a blog similar to this before purchasing such an expensive piece of garbage. If you have money to spend and do not care if it is a waste or not buy it and have acne, But if you are like me and work hard for every dollar you make and unfortunately have acne spend your money more wisely. I am very frustrated with myself for falling for such bogus products such as Murad. I just hope whoever reads this has way more sense than I did and trusts what I am saying and saves themselves 60 dollars and some terrible acne. They do come with a return policy though, oh but it does not cover the expensive shipping and handling that you already paid or the cost to send the stuff back, how convenient for them. |

| Pros | The cleanser, lotion and mask smelled good. Skin cleared up VERY LITTLE the first week. Other than that.. NONE!!! |

| Bottom line | I would not reccomend this product. I have been dealing with my acne since I hit puberity (i am now almost 22)... I have tried just about everything under the sun, so i figured hey why not one more. The first week I started to see slight results, and became veryyyy hopeful that this might be the end of my acne. Boy was I wrong. The second week was very bad. I was breaking out in places I never broke out before in my life. I thought maybe this was "supposed" to happen as they tell you. I continued using it and the third week was no different. I actually noticed I that the same pimple would continue to form a white head over and over and over again. Now on the fourth week it is still the same story except now i am having alot more cystic acne all over. TONIGHT WAS MY LAST NIGHT USING THIS PRODUCT AND I AM RETURNING IT FOR MY MONEY TOMORROW MORNING. HORRIBLE... good luck if u decide to try it, i really hope it works for u.. but i would NEVER EVER reccomend it unless u want ur face to become worse. |

| Bottom line | I've been using this since the summer and I'm happy w/ the results. I had acne on my back, chest, and face and now I have none. Amazing since I've had acne since I was 11(i'm 28 now). I still have minimal breakouts but that's hormonal. Having clear skin 3 out of 4 weeks deserves 5 stars from me! I would recommend also using the clarifying toner since that seems to work great w/ the system. The system is a little drying but if you use a good moisturizer you should be ok. It's worth a try esp. if you've been playing the guinea pig all of your life w/ all of these other acne products. Good luck b/c having acne can really put a damper on life. |
