Pros -Made skin a little smoother
- Didnt dry out skin
Cons - Didnt make face clear in 4 weeks
- Face looks super oily and gets really oily throughout the day
Bottom line This stuff does not work. It definitely doesn't work as fast as they say it does because I have been on it for 7 weeks and still see no improvement. My skin is constantly oily, I am getting more and more pimples, and my face just looks horrible! it's really embarrassing to show my face around people.

Pros Brighter skin
Feels Good
Works great
Cons The Purging part is annoying/scary
Dryness if I don't use the lotion
Expensive
Bottom line I've been using this product for about 2 years now. It works great for me. I love this stuff. But I have very oily skin all over so bad I have to use an oil striping shampoo. Dryness has only been an issue if I don't use the lotion after.

When I 1st started using it I purged really badly and thought about stopping with this regimen but I had spent so much money on it I figured I should at least finish the bottles. I'm glad I kept it up. My face cleared in three weeks. And has been that way ever since.

Yes, this product is expensive. Yes, I use almost every product they have in their acne line. Yes, If I stay over at someones house on a whim and don't have it, I have a new zit the next day. I'm completely dependent on this stuff. And everyone once in a while when I'm on my cycle I get a zit or two but they go away after a day or so.

Bottom line I love this stuff, and won't use anything else on my face or body but it doesn't work for everyone.

Pros First product I've used that doesn't dry out my face. Great lotion. Honestly, I think the other girls on here talking about how it dries out their skin are just not meant to use it, just like I wasn't meant to use ProActiv because I had a bad reaction. It seems to be working for me, so no complaints.
Cons Expensive for my taste. Wish it came in bigger bottles.
Bottom line I've been using this system for over 2 weeks now. I didn't even make it 1 week with ProActive, so this is a nice change. My skin redness has been noticeably reduced and I am getting less and less pimples everyday. Woohoo!

Pros None
Cons Dont ever you this product, it is like washing your face with pure acid! Used product for 2 days and had a massive reaction, caused severe redness, pain, dryness, swelling and thousands of yellow blisters on my face. I was unrecognisable!!!!!
Bottom line I have always suffered from acne prone skin since I was 10 years old and I am now 29. I have been prescibed many tablets and lotions including roaccutane but nothing worked for me until I found proactive which was amazing for my skin. As id been using proactive for the last 3 years I was advised to change my product and was recommended murad acne complex. This was the worse mistake I have ever made. I used the 3 step product the clarifying cleanser, toner and acne treatment gel and after only 2 uses my face had a massive reaction. After my second application of the product within hours my face started to severely burn, sting and itch. My apperance was horrific and I could hardly recognise myself. My face was bright red, extremely tight and painful and covered in hundreds of yellow blister type pimples all over my face. The pain was so bad I was unable to sleep. I saw a doctor and was prescribed oral steroids, steroid cream, antibiotics, antihistamines and anti imflammatory drugs to try and calm down the reaction. This product should not be allowed to be sold its so dangerous!!!!!! I thought having acne was bad but nothing compared to my experience of murad. DONT USE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros Doesn't contain BP which is so bad for skin. Might have worked- I couldn't use it long enough to find out.
Cons dries your skin out like the gobi desert. Is pricey with expensive shipping. Makes your face fall off. Contains hydrogen peroxide which is a known carcinogen.
Bottom line I was attracted to the idea of the product at first because it has no BP and claimed to not dry out your skin. What a joke! I used it for only 3 days, by day 2 my skin was SO dry and was literally peeling off my face like a snake shedding it's skin! I thought "this can't be healthy" and after reading the reviews here and on other independent sites I was too scared to continue use. I just couldn't see using something that harsh long term. It would burn slightly and make my skin red when I applied it. I had to apply moisturizer like 9 times in one day and it still didn't help the dryness. Hope I can get a hassle free refund.
My skin is normal to dry, never oily so maybe for people with oily skin the drying aspect would be a good thing, I don't know. Maybe it would have worked to clear up acne, I didn't stick with it long enough to find out, but it just didn't seem healthy for my skin. Sort of like pouring bleach on your face twice a day.

Oh yea, and the website does not give a list of ingredients so I found out after receiving the product that it contains hydrogen peroxide which damages skin cells.

Pros The facewash makes you feel refreshed, the lotion is nice and light but does a good job of moisturizing.
Cons Its extremely harsh. It make my face feel dry, at first i thought it may work, then my face exploded and i am now 2 months after discontinuing use am still trying to clear up the pimples that it "purged" this is an exteme system. It will literally make your face explode!
Bottom line Even tho the only thing i still use is the Skin Perfecting lotion, i will never use this system again. The gel they give you just burns your skin off and makes pimples more inflamed. Id rather use BP anyday than SA. If you want to try their lotion, go to Ulta, they sell their products seperately, Sephora too. Otherwise, stay away, you can go ahead and asume it may work for you but then you will come back and cry cus it didnt. Do dans regimen instead!

Pros It sounds professional. The bottles are very nice.
Cons This product is horrible on the commerical they say take the 4 week challenge and you will see results bullsh*t. I used this products everyday twice a day for 3 months and I didnt see any type of results period. On the commerical they dont even tell you what the main ingredients that targets the acne in their system. You dont know tell you get it in the mail.
Bottom line It does work please dont ever try this stuff. Murad cost way more than Proactiv and it doesnt even work better than Proactiv. If you see this commerical change the channel their 4 week challenge doesnt even work it just makes you skin worse. Take it from me I use it everyday twice a day for 3 months. The mask they give you is so watery too. At least I can say Proactiv gives you results and the mask is awesome but the bad thing about Proactiv is that you still break out with a pimple or two even though you use it twice a day everyday. What I am trying now is Dan's Regiem because I have tried everything and nothing keeps it clear for long. So wish me good luck.

Cons Broke out crazy on forehead, usually only have a couple breakouts once in a while, never experienced this . . . light acne became severe
Exfoliating clear liquid stung, almost unbearable
Skin red and irritated, super dry . . .
Bottom line I'm 19 almost 20, and have only had light acne on and off depending on how stressful my life is. Just got off Yasmin BC, after using it for 6 months, now have been off it for 3 months. So, my body is trying to re-cleanse.
Other's recommended Murad, I was hesitant, because I've not had a pleasant outcome of other systems, such as Proactive.
Well my hesitant feeling came true, after a week in a half whole forehead broke out, their so called "purges," never had this experience, felt worse . . .
Switched my regimen back to my old one, face cleared back to its normal balance.
Not recommended . . . if someone want's their acne to get worse!

Pros Haven't seen any after 3.5 weeks of of "by the book" use
Cons My breakouts are worse, bigger, deeper and more painful then before I started using the procudct. Created severely dry and scaly patches on my chin and neck.
Bottom line Just like all the other products I've tried, which is just about everything, this one didn't work for me. It made my skin and acne much worse.

Pros Leaves skin smooth and reduces redness.
Cons Can irritate skin at first.
Bottom line I didn't see any results at firsts and the "purging" process made me inscure but after a month I started seeing results fast. I have been using it for a month and a few weeks and my skin keeps looking better every week. :)
