Pros: I have only been using this product so keep that in mind while reading this but so far I have had fantastic results. it is not completely clear yet but a lot of my acne has gotten smaller if it has not disappeared. It really reduces redness as well. Cons: The smell is disgusting. During the day that is all I can smell no matter how much perfume I of on. Also my skin got really dry. I have sensitive skin so I expected that but I have only been using it at night so caution to users with dry skin. Bottom Line: It really has been working well so far with my acne and skin color. It evened out my skin tone and made my face smoother. I do have a lot of drying so you might want to try a more generic moisturizer. The moisturizer is also the source of the foul smell. Also do not buy this product from the website. I found it on amazon for only 20 dollars and it is the same exact thing minus the facial mask but it is worth it considering that you won't get stuck in an every month purchase and if you don't like the product you do not have to struggle to cancel before the 30 days before they charge you and send you a new one. Pros: Nothing. Cons: Made my skin much worst. Bottom Line: I have used this product as advertised for 4 weeks but unfortunately it has made my skin much worst. Pros: it smells good Cons: Redness, irritated skin, never cleared up my face. GIVES YOU CYST Acne (the worst kind) I now have more acne than I initially started with. Bottom Line: Do not get this product... again a failure like proactive... Do not waist your money on it. Pros: The cleanser was alright, even though it didn't completely make my skin clear..it didn't cause me to breakout more. Cons: The murad spot treatment was way too harsh for my skin.. it damaged my skin. I think because it contains sulfur ingredients. The acne exfoliating treatment gel dried my skin out. The moisturizer was mediocre. Bottom Line: Please do not waste your money on these products. They end up irritating your skin more than treating it. There are cheaper products in drugstores that work better than this system. Recommended: No Usage: Sara has used this item for a few months. Pros: none so far Cons: both the face wash and gel makes my face very red and very dry, the skin perfecting lotion is not strong enough to moisturize my skin Bottom Line: im on day 3 and my face is very red (looks like i have sunburn) after day 1 and day 2 i couldnt handle the amount of oil this kit was making my skin produce (probably cus of its drying effects) so today i added a few drops of jojoba oil to the lotion wich by the way i stopped using 3 days ago when i started my new murad kit. in my opinion so far the kit isnt helping just irritating my skin, but thats just me probly becouse i have sensitive skin. Pros: cleared some acne temporarily Cons: left my face with bad cystic acne after i stopped using it. Bottom Line: i've had acne for probably at least 7 years or so. it started to clear up a lot once i was about 18 or so (i was only using clearasil products at that time). a few months back i decided to give murad a try, and it was a huge mistake for me. it seemed to work decently at first..my forehead was totally clear. but i started getting really bad breakouts on my cheeks. a lot of bad cystic type acne that i've never really had before. i also used this on my chest and back. my back is now broken out more than it ever has been. this product works for some people, but i've read a lot of reviews that ended in bad cystic acne because of this. Pros: It's amazing! I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone. I have used several products before nothing seemed to work as well as Murad. I love it, and have been using this product for 2 years now! Cons: The acne gel stings a little bit, but that's how you know it's really working! I use it once, at night. Bottom Line: Just try it. Pros: works well, lots of product. feels great on skin and greatly improves the non-acne sections. Cons: not 100%; combine with moisturizer that has more sal acid than murad moisturizer for better clearing Bottom Line: Was on combo minocycline twice daily, birth control, differin with mild cleanser. Went off all prescription drugs because cost and stomach probs from antibiotics. Murad cleanser and toner plus hope in a bottle by philosophy as moisturizer (extra sal. acid) works as well as all the drugs did. Have had cysts for 12 yrs and mostly clear now. Still breaking out monthly and if wear makeup, but Murad is the best I've found. The cleanser is great and works better if left on for a minute or so. The spot treatment with low sulfur is terrific if I feel a pimple coming on. It cools the spot so it's less painful and keeps it from being as bad. Also, the spot treatment is greeny-clear in color and serves as a concealer. If I remember to use it my skin is much better. Previously used dry-lo high concentration sulfur treatment; this works as well without obvious dots on my face. Usage: Meg has used this item for about a year. Pros: Their commercials really suck you into believing that their product will work. I was able to get my money back because I bought from their website. Cons: It made my mild acne horrible. I now have inflamed acne that has not improved yet. With consistent use for the promised four week improvement my skin was much worse than before using Murad. Bottom Line: It's not worth the money. I'd rather have the mild acne than what is happening to my skin now. Even with the use of true natural products and very clean eating, my skin is still damaged.
