Pros: feels light on my skin Cons: made me break out waaaaay worse than I ever have. Bottom Line: I suffered with terrible acne for years, tried everything- accutane, antibiotics, acne facials etc. I started using proactive 4 years ago and my face cleared up amazingly. I read up on Murad and liked how it seemed a little more natural and moisturizing. After 2 weeks my face started breaking out.. i thought maybe it was purging. but now after using murad for almost 2 months my face is continually getting worse and worse. I'm throwing this expensive garbage away and going back to my old faithful-proactive. Recommended: No Usage: Mary has used this item for a few months. Pros: the moistureizer is geat. and the acne wash leaves your sin feeling clean. Cons: after about 1 months use of murad, I STARTED TO BREAK OUTEVEN MORE.! I USED TO HAVE ACNE ONLY ON MY FOREHEAD NOW I HVE IT AROUND MY MOUTH AND BY MY NOSE. TNKS ALOT MURAD. Pros: The face wash is great and left my skin feeling clean and the skin perfecting lotion seemed to work good, too. Cleared my face for about a month. Cons: After a month my breakouts came back with a vengeance! Its kinda pricey since it doesn't work that great. And the treatment gel smells like rotten eggs. Seriously. Bottom Line: I'm sure it works for some people with light acne, but it definetly didn't work for me. After about a month, I broke out worse than ever! I don't reccomend this product. Pros: It moisturized my face and helped with oily skin during the day. It also smells GREAT! Cons: It dried my face out at first, caused me to break out pretty back and made my skin kinda itchy. Bottom Line: In the begining I was worried I was having a bad reaction to it and that it was just making everything worse, but after the first few weeks it made my skin look wonderful. It takes a little while to see the results but it is totally worth it. My advice, finish at least a four-five week trial period and then see what your skin looks like. Pros: the moisturizer is nice Cons: the cleanser is super overdrying and made my skin cracked, irritated, and broken out Bottom Line: i've been using this for at least four weeks. when i started, i followed the instructions exactly. however, when i got further into the regimen (2 or 3 days or so) my face was covered with tiny bumps, itchy, dry, and red. i didn't use it for a while and then i started again, incorporating dan's cleanser into the mix. without the super-drying cleanser my face felt better and wasn't irritated, but it was super shiny. i started mixing dan's and murad's cleansers together to make one just right, but my skin is peeling badly and i can only put the products on at night. i hope this ends up working for me, but i'm doubtful. Pros: nice smell, nice consistancy Cons: i have so many more tiny zits in places i never used to break out in. Also, my face is kind of itchy. However, it has only been 3 day since i stated Murad. I hope this works! I am concerned that this is making my skin worst though. Bottom Line: I'll give it another week and i hope that the so called "purging" process ends. I am skeptical about his product right now. However, ill keep my make up close for time being. My skin is the worst is has ever been since i started using Murad. Perhaps it is purging all the years of abuse and nasty products i have been using. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Usage: ik has used this item for a day or two. Pros: It cleared up my acne immediately Cons: Day three came and my skin is uneven, red, and irritated. I think I'm going to find something else after reading these reviews. Pros: Immediately effective, as promised. I rarely have acne flare-ups, but live in a polluted city which caused my skin to break out. Nothing worked -- I saw the Murad promo on TV. Was skeptical. But saw the sampler pack at Sephora and tried. It worked!! Cons: The serum has an unpleasant odor, but the soothing lotion is nice. Bottom Line: It's the only product I have 100% confidence in to clear up flare-ups. Recommended: Yes Usage: Kat has used this item for about a year. Pros: It felt nice on the skin and you don't need a lot. The first few days using murad perfecting lotion, it dried up pimples that i felt were forming. Cons: After a week usage, my skin started to get worse than EVER! I had bumps forming on my forehead and large pimples forming on my cheeks, jawline and neck, which rarely ever happen. Bottom Line: I thought it would help but it didn't! My skin hasn't been this bad since purity. I thought the bumps and pimples were just part of the purging stage but my skin never got better and now is worse than when i started. Its been a week now since i stopped using it and my skin is still feeling the effects and the scars left behind. I read reviews beforehand, good and bad, but thought it may work for me - IT DIDN'T. I wish i had listened to the warnings people put up. I'm letting you know now. DON'T USE IT!!!!! Proactive is much much more effective. Pros: love it! my face has cleared up. not all the way. but has done a gooood job, NOTHING else has worked that ive tryed! IM STICKING w. it (= Cons: TOO DAMN EXPENSIVE I MUST SAY! Bottom Line: LOOOVE IT! Purging for about 1/2 weeks! then your skin starts to heal and heal! trust me in about a month you'll get a compliment saying, YOUR SKIN IS REALLY CLEARING UP!!
