| Cons: | Had an allergic reaction after 3 weeks of using it. Sore chest and difficulty breathing, shortness of breath. Broke out in rash all over body, large/spotty and itchy red rash. Sore areas on body. Sore stiff neck. |
| Bottom Line: | This is an allergic reaction. |

| Pros: | Slowly reduced my acne Cheap, affordable |
| Cons: | Its a slow product, took me a bit of time |
| Bottom Line: | I was on it with some 4% benzol Peroxide cream and Differin gel. Its been 2 months and iv been taking 100mg a day because its telling me too. Iv seen some good improvement but some acne moved to the side of my face and im getting blackheads which iv never gotten before. Im thinking about just taking 100mg twice a day even if it doesnt tell me to because it seems to be working for everyone else. I havent gotten any side effects. Only issue that i had that made it go slower was that i accidently left a week before refills. One thing with anitbiotics is taht u have to take it consistantly or they WONT work. I wanted accutane at first b/c im pissed about how my friend who had TERRIBLE acne got cured before me who has moderate. Everytime a girl is asked if they think im hot they ALLL reply "yeah hes really hot except for his acne" FML!!!!!!!! |

| Pros: | N/A |
| Cons: | I got better results from an over-the-counter, off brand acne cream than this. My acne was never this bad. If anything, this medicine aggravated my skin and made it worse, especially on my back and side of my face where I hardly get acne! |
| Bottom Line: | I know everyone has different results, but this product is NOT for me. I'd rather go back to the cheap acne cream that makes my face red and itchy for a couple hours than this. I feel even more self concious than ever. |

| Pros: | Has cleared my acne. From 14 -15 pimples reduced to none. worried though as taking along with Isotretinoin as recommended by doctor but all sites recommend not taking these two together. |
| Cons: | Once u stop the acne returns, aused mild diarrhea and mood swings. Got tanned badly ( live in a hot country) |
| Bottom Line: | Use only if u have to. I had to and got me immediate results in 1 week. |

| Pros: | Greatly cleared up my facial and chest/back acne. Was very cheap for me- about $17 |
| Cons: | The first couple weeks were terrible- lots of peeling, dryness and tightness. I still get some cysts around the chin, and the small papules are especially stubborn but getting better. Now I just need to find something for the scars.. |
| Bottom Line: | Overall I've seen tremendous improvement, this was my first oral medication after having moderate acne for 6 years so I'm pretty happy with my results. New zits disappear quickly if you leave them alone. I'm also paired with tretinoin (morning) and benzoyl peroxide pads (evening). |

| Pros: | I have been using Minocycline in prescription for a few months, initially it works really well But slowly the power wades off |
| Cons: | For short term it is good, no use for longterm |
| Bottom Line: | Paid pretty heavy price for the medications, but I have been having recurring acne since my early teenage(now 26). Today as I am writing am having 3-4 cystic acne, seems very deep. So talk to your doctor about the medication... |

| Pros: | cleared up scne within a week |
| Cons: | drug induced lupus and auto-immune hepatitis |
| Bottom Line: | Cleared up my skin but I had muscle and joint pain that sent me to my GP multiple times for pain medication, X-rays, blood work etc... Luckily I am a pharmacist and put 2 and 2 together after a month of taking it and being on pain meds for about as long and discontinue taking the medication. It took 3 more months for my liver enzymes to return to normal and my joint/muscle pain to disappear. Use with caution. Look at the case studies. |

| Pros: | Nothing. |
| Cons: | Everything. |
| Bottom Line: | This pill is horrible. I've been taking 100mg twice a day for about a month and a half, my acne hasn't changed at all. Nothing on my face has changed. I'm taking minocycline, 10% benzoyle face wash, and a drying cream at night.
I'm very disappointed. |

| Pros: | Work on acne and clears up BUT at a DANGEROUS PRICE. |
| Cons: | Messes with your mind and your emotions! BE CAREFUL! Brought on some anxiety attacks for me. I felt short of breath for a few days. Very potent stuff. Kills bacteria good and bad that your body needs. Puts your body out of balance. Use with caution!! |
| Bottom Line: | I wouldn't take this unless absolutely necessary. For example, if your acne is super bad and your pepperoni face makes it unbearable to be outside or anything social. If you suffer from mild acne, the OTC stuff like benazoyl perizoxide is effective. Just deal with it and go on a strict wash/cleansing regimen. In fact a 2004 British study found that that long term usage of antibiotics vs. benazol peroxide was practically the same. So why put a pill into your mouth that wipes out all the bacteria (good and bad) in your system and makes you susceptible to other illnesses? Antiobiotics are bad for you people! This one messes with your mind/moods and emotions and has a handful of side effects. Read the labels. Yellowing of teeth, stomach problems, juandice, lupus like symptoms and even killed a British 14 year old a few years ago! All this worth it over a few pimples? Just deal with the pimples with OTC stuff. DON'T PUT THIS POISON INTO YOUR MOUTH! |
