Pros:Clears up acne a bit
Cons:Short term, a bit harsh on the body
Bottom Line:It cleared up my acne quite abit while I was on it , but the antibiotics were a bit harsh and I chose to stop taking them after a couple of months due to it giving me a girlie problem... ya know. Anyways as soon I was off it my skin just went crazy again. Not something to try if you're looking for a permanent fix.

Pros:Works fast. I've been on it before and within a week my face was almost completely clear. I get cystic acne and even the big ones were gone. It's the only thing that works for me
Cons:causes yeast infections. It says to take on empty stomach which makes me nauseas so I take it with food and it still works
Bottom Line:love it

Pros:- Cleared up at least 90% of my acne
- Easy to take
- No side effects (Didn't irritate stomach, no headaches, etc..)
Cons:- Apparently isn't good for your liver
- You have to wait for about an hour to lay down after taking it
- Post marks still remain. Although, they're less noticeable.
Bottom Line:Been taking Minocycline 100 mg twice daily for exactly 2 months now, along with Tazorac cream. I'm very pleased with the results. I went from having moderately severe acne to moderately light acne. At first, it improved within the first few days. Then, probably after a week, it seemed to lose effect. Then, my acne looked better. It was basically a cycle of good days and bad days. However, I contributed my bad days (red skin, very noticeable post marks) to Tazorac. I know this because I haven't been using Tazorac for about 5 days now and my skin is very clear (except for only two whiteheads) and evenly toned in color. However, I still remained taking my usual dosage of Minocycline for the past 5 days while I was off Tazorac. Therefore, I can come to the conclusion that Minocycline is helping me a lot. I plan on continuing Minocycline for another month, which would add up to a total of 3 months of using it.

Pros:Easy to take.
Cons:HORRIBLE allergic reaction.
Bottom Line:I just wanted to write this review to warn people to PLEASE be careful when taking this medicine, and please notice right away if it's doing bad things to your body! If you are allergic to Minocycline, within 2 to 3 weeks of taking the medicine you might break out in a rash or hives, or you might experience flu-like symptoms. This is what happened to me. I just thought I was getting a heat rash (as I often do as summertime comes) and a lot of my friends are sick with a cold, so I ignored my fever and sore throat. Little did I know that I am severely allergic to this medicine. This only happens for 1 in 100 people, but if you experience these signs, contact your doctor immediately, as it could be very dangerous!

Pros:i haven't seen any yet
Cons:light headed, hurts to swallow the stupid pill and makes you really tired
Bottom Line:it hasn't done anything to clear up my skin and my acne is really light (i never used to have acne at all until a month ago) which is why i went on the stupid thing as a last resort

i dont' know.. maybe i'll give it a bit more time. or try this accutane i keep reading about

Pros:Slowly reduced my acne
Cheap, affordable
Cons:Its a slow product, took me a bit of time
Bottom Line:I was on it with some 4% benzol Peroxide cream and Differin gel. Its been 2 months and iv been taking 100mg a day because its telling me too. Iv seen some good improvement but some acne moved to the side of my face and im getting blackheads which iv never gotten before. Im thinking about just taking 100mg twice a day even if it doesnt tell me to because it seems to be working for everyone else. I havent gotten any side effects. Only issue that i had that made it go slower was that i accidently left a week before refills. One thing with anitbiotics is taht u have to take it consistantly or they WONT work. I wanted accutane at first b/c im pissed about how my friend who had TERRIBLE acne got cured before me who has moderate. Everytime a girl is asked if they think im hot they ALLL reply "yeah hes really hot except for his acne" FML!!!!!!!!

Pros:N/A
Cons:I got better results from an over-the-counter, off brand acne cream than this. My acne was never this bad. If anything, this medicine aggravated my skin and made it worse, especially on my back and side of my face where I hardly get acne!
Bottom Line:I know everyone has different results, but this product is NOT for me. I'd rather go back to the cheap acne cream that makes my face red and itchy for a couple hours than this. I feel even more self concious than ever.
