| Cons: | FIRST NIGHT I TOOK IT I GOT REALLY BAD HEART BURN... MY CHEST AND STOMACH HURT SOOO BAD... SECOND NIGHT I TOOK IT I FELT REALLLLY DROWSY. AND AGAIN MY CHEST HURT VERY BAD... SECOND NIGHT I COULDN'T EVEN KEEP MY EYES OPEN I WAS LIKE A ZOMBIE |

| Pros: | none that i can tell.. just made my skin less oily for a couple days but that was it. |
| Cons: | LOTS OF PIGMENTATION!!! made my skin look worse than it did. now im not allowed to go in the sun because it'll make things worse. note that minocycline and all of the -cycline antibiotics may result in pigmentation and even tooth discoloration. |

Was pleased with the results until the folling happend days later. |

| Cons: | Short term, a bit harsh on the body |
| Bottom Line: | It cleared up my acne quite abit while I was on it , but the antibiotics were a bit harsh and I chose to stop taking them after a couple of months due to it giving me a girlie problem... ya know. Anyways as soon I was off it my skin just went crazy again. Not something to try if you're looking for a permanent fix. |

| Pros: | Works fast. I've been on it before and within a week my face was almost completely clear. I get cystic acne and even the big ones were gone. It's the only thing that works for me |

| Pros: | - Cleared up at least 90% of my acne
- Easy to take
- No side effects (Didn't irritate stomach, no headaches, etc..) |
| Cons: | - Apparently isn't good for your liver
- You have to wait for about an hour to lay down after taking it
- Post marks still remain. Although, they're less noticeable. |
| Bottom Line: | Been taking Minocycline 100 mg twice daily for exactly 2 months now, along with Tazorac cream. I'm very pleased with the results. I went from having moderately severe acne to moderately light acne. At first, it improved within the first few days. Then, probably after a week, it seemed to lose effect. Then, my acne looked better. It was basically a cycle of good days and bad days. However, I contributed my bad days (red skin, very noticeable post marks) to Tazorac. I know this because I haven't been using Tazorac for about 5 days now and my skin is very clear (except for only two whiteheads) and evenly toned in color. However, I still remained taking my usual dosage of Minocycline for the past 5 days while I was off Tazorac. Therefore, I can come to the conclusion that Minocycline is helping me a lot. I plan on continuing Minocycline for another month, which would add up to a total of 3 months of using it. |

| Cons: | HORRIBLE allergic reaction. |
| Bottom Line: | I just wanted to write this review to warn people to PLEASE be careful when taking this medicine, and please notice right away if it's doing bad things to your body! If you are allergic to Minocycline, within 2 to 3 weeks of taking the medicine you might break out in a rash or hives, or you might experience flu-like symptoms. This is what happened to me. I just thought I was getting a heat rash (as I often do as summertime comes) and a lot of my friends are sick with a cold, so I ignored my fever and sore throat. Little did I know that I am severely allergic to this medicine. This only happens for 1 in 100 people, but if you experience these signs, contact your doctor immediately, as it could be very dangerous! |

| Bottom Line: | it hasn't done anything to clear up my skin and my acne is really light (i never used to have acne at all until a month ago) which is why i went on the stupid thing as a last resort
i dont' know.. maybe i'll give it a bit more time. or try this accutane i keep reading about |
