| Pros: | Scarring acne cleared up from my face and back. Only got the occasional spot when having my period. Did not cause any sickness and took about a month to work |
| Cons: | Doctors wont let you stay on it!!!! |
| Bottom Line: | Been on it a year and a half and have now been told i have to stop. It has been 2 weeks and i look like a lumpy tomato and am no longer leaving the house. Am currently trying to get my gp to re prescribe it and also looking in to an acid tca peel for scarring |

| Pros: | Cheap, not as intense as accutane. |
| Cons: | Have to take 2 pills at a time. (NOT THAT BAD!!! Come on!) |
| Bottom Line: | Doctor gave it to me because he said I'm too old for accutane now (I'm 20). I got a three month bottle through my mail order insurance pharmacy. It's been cutting down on my severe oil (I have to wash my pillowcase about twice a week) but the acne is still there. I'm not getting off of it because it HAS dried me out! |

| Cons: | Makes me sick to my stomach if not taken with a substantial meal. Rebound effect (acne gets worse by 10X once therapy is discontinued) |
| Bottom Line: | I have a love/hate relationship with this pill. I did a year on this drug back in 2006. I took 100mg twice a day. If you don't take it with food, you will vomit which defeats the purpose of taking it. It took a solid 2 months of consistent use before I saw results, so don't give up on this drug! It was great for the last 9 months. I suffered from moderate cystic acne on my face and a little bit on my back. This pill made it so I got one or two hormonal zits during my cycle. After one year, my doctor wouldn't refill for another year until I came in for a exam. I didn't get to it for six months. For me, there was a terrible rebound effect. I broke out with every kind of zit all over my face, back, neck and chest. I looked horrible. I wanted to cry. It took four months for my skin to calm down a little. I am not a candidate for accutane at this time, so now I am two weeks into my second course. I've tried many OTC and none works like this pill. |

| Pros: | 1. Acne has minimized and I never wake up with a sudden break out (as with other medications) 2. Face is never too dry, only when I use other ace medications with this one
3. Never makes me feel sick |

| Pros: | Simple: it got rid of the better part of my acne. I coupled it with Benzaclin. |
| Cons: | Iv'e never gotten sick from it except for mild nausea when I didn't take it with food |
| Bottom Line: | I always hate pilling on the base in the morning hoping my face willl look decent that day and now that Ive been on this pill, my skin's cleared up. Ive even been to Wal-mart witout base and face powder (Im not gonna try that at school of course) but the bottom line is that I really like it and it's never caused me any health problems or made my acne worse. |

| Bottom Line: | I totally loved taking this at first, because it did clear up my skin, but within a few weeks of taking it I developed strong headaches. I didn't think it had anything to do with the medicine, so I shrugged it off. The headaches became so strong that I was admitted to the emergency room, and my nuerologist came to the conclusion that I had pseudotumor cerebri or idiopathic intracranial hypertension, which is too much fluid surrounding your brain and spinal courd, which in the long run, could cause me permanent eye damage. But, as an acne medication, it worked really well! |

| Pros: | it really works at first, cheap, easy to get and to use, not a pain in but like accutane. |
| Cons: | time passes your acne comes back wrose then ever, you will want more but your docter will get you off it if you been on it too long then thats where the real troubles in acne begins right after! |

| Pros: | MY acne was cleared up completely within a week an a half. The anti inflammatory effect was helpful as well. |
| Cons: | For the first three days I suffered from ligh headedness, loss of concentration and headache. Nothing too serious, and it all stopped after about 3 days. |
