i'm 1 and a half months into my accutane course of 40 mg in the first month and 60 mg from then on. i haven't noticed even a bit of difference in my acne or face in general. the only side effect i've had is dry lips- that is all. is this normal? when do i start seeing a change? im deathly afraid of being one of those people who are just resistant to accutane.

i've been on 40 mg claravis for a bit more than 3 weeks. i have not experienced ANY effects at all, good or bad. maybe a slight dryness with lips, but they chap easily anyway. i had a bit of a breakout, but it wasn't so horrid that i didn't think it could possibly be the terrible "initial breakout" that everyone speaks of. what's the deal? i get bumped up to 60 mg when i finish the month, do you think that will make a difference and the dryness/effects will kick in?

hey. i've had mild but cystic persistent acne for about 5 years now. tried everything from birth control pills, antibiotics, retin-a, etc. etc. etc. i start accutane in about 12 days. this is the current state of my face, after stopping doxycycline about a week ago. right now, i'm using diane 35 birth control, retin-a, and klaron. i have two cysts near my chin, and other random things going on..
So my question is, how do you think it will work for me? any tips, suggestions, etc. |
