So I'm full aware of the precautions about getting a piercing while on accutane, no need to reiterate them to me. But I was wondering if anyone on here got their nose pierced while on accutane and didn't have major set backs? I want to get my double nostril done, and I know the ins and outs I have tattoos plugs piercings so I know how it works, but I don't want two huge red spots around the piercings. So if anyone has had success with getting their nose pierced while on accutane let me know!

It's been two months now and I still am seeing little to no results at all, if anything it is making me break out more frequently, and with college starting up again in 8 days I can't take having my face look as awful as it does right now while I'm at college. So I have my dermatologist appointment next thursday and I think I'm going to see about getting off of accutane.

So I'm about 5 weeks into my course, and I am sure wondering if anyone has had an IB that has lasted more thatn 5 weeks, and if so how long it took to go away. I'd like to believe that my IB is going away but I seem to still be getting new spots daily, which is super frustrating. College starts back up soon and I am really hoping that by about week 7 my initial breakout should be subsiding.
Also idk if anything in my routine is causing me to break out? I wash my face in the morning with cetaphil gentle cleanser and use cetaphil moisturizer on my dry spots. I eat breakfast after and take my pill and 1000iu of vitamin E as well. I drink plenty of water throughout the day and I usually don't eat lunch because of work. When I get home around 7 I eat something like a pb&j and take my pill with it. Then before I go to bed I shower and wash my face with cetaphil. Any feedback/ideas/comments would be great!!!!

Okay, so I'm on day 18 of my course. Things have been so annoying lately too, like one day My face is super clear and then the next the get new spots, then the following day they are gone, and that cycle goes on and on and on. I had my IB and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of how I can maybe change that?
My Routine: In the morning, wash my face with a 3.3% bp face wash, eat a small breakfast, take my pill, then head off to work. While at work, drink 8 glasses of water, add my chapstick when I need it, eat some carrots and celery. When I get home, make myself some dinner, take my pill, drink some water, shower before bed and wash with my 3.3% bp, then catch some z's. Does anyone have any idea why I keep getting new spots?! I mean they are just 1-2 actives, but from about the 11th day to the 15th nothing new was forming. HELPZ PLZ!

Well doubting anyone will read this, but whatever haha. So today is day 9 of my treatment, almost into double digits!! As of right now my face is starting to clear up from my IB, only 1 active on my face. How pleasant. I have a few red marks on my chin, temples and forehead, but apparently I think they are a lot worse than they are. I am trying my best to just not worry about my face, and not let my acne control me. I find if I just put it out of my head and have the confidence I have always had then people tend to pay a lot less attention to it. Like today at work I had a really attractive customer flirting with me, and at first I was like uhhhh does she not see my face right now? But whatever. Putting my acne out of my mind. I have better things to waste time worrying about, I know the accutane will do it's job and 4 months from now my face will be clear! November cannot come soon enough.
