ok well with any supplement its just that... a supplement. you still need to eat healthy etc. and i dont want to rain on anyones parade but from what i have learnt about spots/acne is that it can take at least 2 weeks after bindge eating for anything to crop up this is why it is so hard to link acne with diet or is this not true? im going to cut bread out of my diet and see what happens. this is the only thing i can think of that i eat everyday. and yes i get new spots pretty much everyday every other day Well I don't eat any dairy and have an incredibly healthy diet. I have changed my diet multiple times throughout my struggle with acne. So, in fact I do still eat healthy.

I ate a LOT of grains, a little sugar, and some vinegar. I don't think my diet changed at all though compared to the week before my pills ran out and I was almost clear and the week after they ran out and I broke out a lot. But, starting now I am cutting most grains out of my diet. grains yeah i eat whole meal bread with lots of seeds in it, pumpkin seeds etc, will eat the occasional pasta, how come? so evasion are you saying the broccoli pills cleared you>? I'm not really sure if it is entirely the pills that did it. All I know is the days after I stopped taking them I broke out a lot. But, it is almost a week later and my face is making progress back to how it was while on the pills.

Sorry for not being clear about what I meant. I haven't taken any broccoli pills since I ran out. My face is doing a little better but no where near what it was like on the broccoli pills. I am going to cut out a lot of grains and a lot of soy if I can to see where that takes me. If I see no dramatic change I will get some more broccoli pills I guess. Actually, I will probably try niacin and not go back to broccoli pills. I hate temporary "cures."

ahh got you, yeah try what you said and let us know! its hard doing it the diet way isnt it! but nothing comes easy i guess. I've tried a vegan diet but still broke out. Now I'm trying a more paleo approach but I splurged a couple days ago after being vegan for so long I ate a couple chocolate brownies so I'm going to give it a while before I even consider results.

thats the thing. i body build and so no dairy is hard for me. i enjoyed my cheese!
i lost weight and people noticed at work, they said i looked ill. they even given me time off work so i can get better. tbh i think it all went down hill after stopping the anti biotics. well i hope i am on the mend and i am going to do everything i can to get my gut working and i am going for the kill on the inside out approach. as in , look after the inside and the body reflects it on the outside so to speak. when i look back at old photos, i had great skin! and i never used all these topicals. then when i got an outbreak probably drink related i went mad! anyway yes sticking with a hard diet is well... hard. and the temptations are far to strong

I cut my dairy intake to about 5% (before my vegan diet). 100% being when I was younger I would eat cereal with milk and put cheese on anything I could. I sometimes ate butter plain too, not very much though only a little nibble. Recently (with my vegan diet) I ate no dairy. My vegan diet didn't clear me as much as I would have liked and i was always so tired. I ate a piece of pizza and the aforementioned brownies (a couple days after coming off my vegan diet) and got no cysts like dairy used to give me. Maybe I can tolerate it now? Does dairy give you cysts or what? You may not have to cut it out. Also, think about what you are missing when you cut out dairy, is it the calcium or what? You should find a way to replace it in your diet instead of removing it.
