Should I stay on Mino or go ahead with Accutane?

Been on Mino since December...5 weeks almost and now I'm seeing improvements. Except for the ugly red marks in my cheeks, forehead and chin ( a multitude of them!!!! ), I've got about 8 or so active pimples compared to the clusters I've got last Christmas.

So now the question is:: SHOULD I STAY ON MINO OR GO AHEAD WITH THE ACCUTANE???

I'm scared shitless of the initial breakout from Accutane ( and of course the other side effects..... but I think I can handle the dryness and nosebleeds...) ](*,)

Another question: WILL ACCUTANE HELP MY EXISTING REDMARKS??? OR WILL IT DELAY THE NORMAL FADING/LIGHTENING OF THE MARKS?

Please help guys, I'd appreciate any feedbacks...

FILIPINOS, Pls. comment on C.Y.Gabriel Medicated Soap

To Filipinos, have you tried C.Y.Gabriel Medicated Soap? A Filipino friend of mine suggested ( and highly recommends) it and said it has been on the Philippine market for years. I can have a friend ship it to me if it truly works.

Have you tried this and how would you rate it? Thanks for any response

I'm feeling so down....Please let Mino work.

I'm terribly feeling so down... my acne is not getting any better...been on Minocycline and clindamycin lotion for more than 3 weeks now but still numerous pimples come out everyday....my cheeks are soooo filled with red marks and active pimples.

The sad news is,my dermatologist said she would want to wait on the Mino to work because she said I might have a terrible initial breakout with Accutane because my skin inflames so easily. ](*,) Like a rash surrounds my pimples making them hurt and look worse. She gave me some Prednisone before Christmas and it did help a little with the inflammation but she discourages its long term use because it can actually aggravate acne for some people.

Some guys on the board say it takes like a month for the Mino to kick in but I'm not seeing any remarkable difference. I've also started taking B5 5g a day... I'm not so sure abt megadosing because I'm only 5'2" and 105lbs. I really miss my skin so much....its been a long while since I've felt smooth skin on my face.....the bumps and marks are a constant reminder of how ugly I am....

My self esteem has gone soooo low. I cant look at people in the eye when I talk and I have become ANTI-SOCIAL.... and I'm dreading the day when I have to go back to work...w/c is SOON!!! I sometimes ask myself what I did to deserve this. Life is soooo unfair..... ](*,)

Can aloe vera prevent new zits?

I've been reading that aloe vera can help redness and scars, but can it prevent new pimples from forming??? For those using aloe vera, what have you experienced?????

Where can u buy Aloe Vera Lotion/Gel????

I've been trying to find Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera Facial Moisturizer or lotion or gel.... at Walgreens, Walmart, Jewel-Osco.... but I cant seem to find it. I've read its good for scars and even active pimples too.. / Where do you guys get it? Only online????? I've ordered some from an online pharmacy but it wont be delivered till Jan 5, 2004.Uhg!!! :-k
