What do you use to clean your face during the 2nd shower?
Right now I use the Regimen during morning and night. But I plan on doing some new sports in the early afternoon so I will be taking an additional shower. I'm thinking just the cleanser and moisturizer? Using BP 3 times a day seem like an overkill IMO.

I'm going to be starting the Regiment in a few days and this is what I plan on doing with to start. I want to take it slow to avoid skin irritation. What do you guys think?
Morning and night... 1. Use 2 pumps of the cleanser and use it to shave off my facial hair as well like what Dan suggests. 2. Use 1/2 or 1/4 pump of the BP. 3. Use 1/2 or 1/4 pump of moisturizer with several drops of the jojoba oil. (My skin is oily so that's why I don't wanna use the full pump). 4. Sunscreen. Of course, wait the 10-15 mins to dry between each step. I have the AHA and wish to use it instead of the moisturizer at night, but should I wait for my skin to get used to the Regiment first before starting the AHA? Thanks!

I've spent the last 2 hours or so browsing the site and reading about the Regiment. I'm seriously thinking about giving it a try because of all the reviews I've read and the attractive price.
I guess since this is my first post, I'll go ahead and do a little introduction. I'm a 23 yr old male with moderate to severe acne..pretty much been facing them since middle school. I've tried most of the over counter stuff including ProActiv, but nothing worked. About 5 weeks ago I started using Differin gel, the .3% version. It didn't really aggravated my skin, and I don't see an improvement as well. I accident ran into this site on Google when I was searching for reviews of different acne products. My winter break from the university is about to start in 2 weeks so I'd figure that I'll give this a try during winter break. My first question is whether if I should stop using the Differin nightly for a week or so before going on the Regimen? And secondly, I've watched the vids of Dan demonstrating the techniques to put on the stuff. I see that he uses a lot of the moisturizer..my skin is naturally very oily as is..should I be using less than normal? Lastly, I watched the vid where Dan says to only leave the cleanser on your face for only 10 seconds. But in another video when he's shaving, it appears like he left the cleanser on for more than the 10 seconds? Thanks a lot! And I will say that this is a great board...for both support and sharing info. |
