Hey everyone,
I've recently discovered that sugar makes me break out in a matter of hours. I know it sounds impossible, but its true. Also, large amounts of natural sugar makes me break out as well, so watch out. Fruit juice was giving me cysts on my forhead, as soon as i quit drinking the juice, my forhead cleared....it sucks, cause sugar is in EVERYTHING!

Hey all,
I just thought I'd let you all know of my success, I've been drinking Odwalla Superfood for about a month, and I have been going to the bathroom more often, and my skin has cleared up nicely! I just drink one a day...and eat a semi-healthy diet, and I have lots of energy! Seriously, healthy eating habits have not only helped my skin, but given me good health, and have helped with my mild depression. I feel more positive, and less stressed..... Another quick note: drink less caffeine!! I notice that my scars fade when i quit drinking coffee and tea!? weird i know!

Well, this past 2 weeks I've been really busy at work so I've been drinking lots of coffee, tea and I've broken out like crazy....I didn't do anything different in my diet, I still ate my regular healthy foods, just lots more caffeine and now my face looks like crap!
I'm going to try to give up caffeine! it will be hard, but i need to do it!! Anyone have any reccomendations for the withdrawls?

Just thought id give you all an update on my diet......Well for almost a year i have been eating very healthy, no sugar and all whole grain.....well yesterday i had 2 sugar free products, an iced mocha and a fudge bar, and my face broke out like crap today.....first breakout ive had in months!! so beware of sugar free stuff!

Hey everyone,
Just thought id let you all know what ive been doing for almost a year, and that I have reduced my acne by 90%....basically i eat a low glycemic diet. I don't eat any white flour foods, as they quickly turn into sugar when you eat them... heres a small list of the foods I eat: .Whole wheat or whole grain bread such as 'Ezekiel' which by the way tastes awesome! .lots of fruits and vegetables...although dried fruit makes me break out, and too many carrots with aggrivate my skin as well .lots of whole wheat snacks like 'ak-mak' which tastes great .brown rice cakes, and steamed brown rice .granola cereal .soy products, no dairy. when i go to starbucks i ask for soy......the only dairy product i use is Organic butter so thats just a small list of the stuff i eat, basically avoid sugar and any white flour products........ this diet has helped me so much and my scars have faded tremendously.....if you have any questions let me know oh, and as for skincare....the ONLY product i use is the Proactiv TONER....not the other stuff, just the toner because it has Glycolic in it.....And I get a Chemical Peel once a month. |
