#3449737 My Scars After Accutane Treatment

Posted by wrocky on 30 August 2014 - 11:12 AM

Hello,

I made this topic because I need some help. After I have been acre from 15 years now I am 25, finally I found accutane and it gone. Now I have deep scars on my face and need to avoid it.

How do you think how deep it is? And how long time it need to be clear?

People who has an experience please advice me which type of treatment will be more effective?

Thank You

Hi, what country are you from? I have very similar scarring to yours, I can tell you 100% that chemical peels wont do anything to you other than improve texture. Scars are too deep for regular chemical peels, you would have to do phenol peel(which is very risky). I suggest Fraxel Repair(NOT RESTORE) for your scarring, multiple treatments. I am considering doing Laser+Recell next time.

Day 7

Tiny scabs left. My skin is bltochy right now and still itching. Taking some benadryl for it. Will update in a few weeks or months if there is a change with my scaring. So far seeing some of my scars popping up, hopefully it will improve overtime.

Good luck, it will come back, but less severe and will improve (fill in) for 3-6 months.

I think there is a problem with your links, they go to "Florida International University", try uploading them to imgur.com and posting them here, if you dont know how, message me the links and I'll embed them.
