Topics I've Started

My Personal Log.

19 November 2007 - 12:00 PM

Well, basically I've been suffering from acne for a number of years now. It's never been too severe, but it's always just been there. I would say it got to the peak about 7 or 8 months ago in my senior year of high school, but since then it's been all downhill.

I do have very little scaring. It's nothing to get worked up over, but it still bugs me occasionally. I can never seem to go a few days without getting a new pimple. Mostly on my cheeks, and my jaw line. It however doesn't bother me unless it's large. The acne on my forehead has for the most part vanished, although I did just get a large pimple on my forehead, my first in about 2 months or so.

Anyways for the past few days it's been bugging me(largely in part due to the pimple i had on my forehead). I didn't go out this weekend because of it, which is rare I guess, but still. I have also had a few pimples come and go around my mouth which has left annoying remarks, but as always they are fading.

So I looked for something to help cure it. I wanted something natural, and I found it.

Baking soda.

I've read nothing but good reviews so I thought what the hell. I bought a little box for like 93 cents on Friday, and been using it as a scrub when washing my face twice daily, and I haven't had any new pimples. None. And the red marks around my mouth seem to be decreasing as well. I wet my face, then put a little bit of baking soda into my hands, and then rub gently and leave for about 5 minutes. It tingles, but it doesn't burn me. This even shrinks existing pimples and my forehead pimple is just a spot now. It probably wouldn't even be a spot if I didn't pick at it.

I will keep you all updated with pictures and I know the quality isn't the best but it's all I have.
This is my third day and I can already notice some difference.

mild acne, trying to clear up.
