just to cheer ya'll up, remember that justin timberlake used to have a pizzaface and now he's world famous! i remember reading in the new york post last year that he was spotted hanging out at a bar but was only drinking water because he was on accutane and therefore couldn't drink alcohol. he took it before he became famous with nsync, and whaddya know, the acne came back when he was an adult and he had to take it again!

i'm twenty years old, with a breakout. i've been clear for such a long time thanks to aczone, but i wasn't aware that my prescription had expired and one day when i went to the pharmacy to pick up a refill they told me that i needed to go back to my doctor to get a new prescription filled out.

so i got the prescrption filled, and i got the aczone again, but there was a two week period where i didn't have the aczone and now i have three huge, painful zits on my forehead, another one on my chin, and a weird cluster of at least ten little zits going from the side of my nose to right under my eye.

and i hate when my boyfriend tells me i'm pretty when i look like this. he says "you're so beautiful," and i think, "you're just saying that to try to cheer me up"

edit i hardly come to this section because i hate "moping," but i've been trying to act normal for days and it's not helping. and when the breakout started i thought "oh, i'll just leave it alone and not touch it and it'll go away on its own!" and it just got worse. then i started putting drying creams on it and popping the whiteheads and it got worse just like when i left it alone. nothings working!!! this is the worst because it's not like when i was in my teen years and i just had acne every day and had to learn to live with it, i had clear skin and i felt confident and pretty! now i feel gross and ugly and i dont want anyone to see me =( i told everyone that i couldn't go see my family today because i had schoolwork to do, but really i just didn't want them to see me like this because the last time i saw everyone people said things like "all grown up! no more pimples!" and i loved it. when i told my boyfriend about the "schoolwork" i had to dom, he invited me to stop by his parents' house to meet his family and eat dinner since he lives so close to me, but i turned him down because i don't want everyone to think that he has an ugly girlfriend

i wore foundation to work the other day for the first time in forever, and one of the girls' sleeves accidentally brushed against my face and a bunch of makeup rubbed off on it and she started laughing at me

i just ordered mineral makeup samples & a couple of brushes =) anyone else use CS?

A year ago, I was on tazorac, and was able to enjoy clear skin after that...until now =(. I have three cysts, all right above my lip! I don't think this means anything too bad, like that it's back for good and i need taz again, I'm pretty sure it's just because I was very sick recently and seriously didn't have the energy to wash my face and apply my aczone gel for a few days.

two of them are looking better, but the middle one won't budge.
every day, I've been:
-icing 2-3 times a day
-applying a q-tip head soaked w/ hydrogen peroxide to the top of the cysts, hold for 3 minutes, repeat for each cyst
-mario badescu drying cream
-applying neosporin + pain relief to the cysts morning and evening for the last 2 days.

in addition, I've experimented with black, green, and rooibos tea bags.

So...basically...I need more ideas!!! Haha

Also, posting your answer along with your hair type (thin or thick, curly or straight, oily or dry, yadda yadda) would be helpful to me
