Hello all! I rarely venture to this portion of the org but today I thought I would give it a try. I have been on this website for years, some might know me, some might not. Regardless, I stopped wearing makeup about a year and a bit ago. It was mostly due to weather issues ( I moved someplace really hot), but also because I was at a place where I felt emotionally free to not hide behind it (because that's what makeup had become for me).

Fast forward to the present...my skin is clear, and I still love the feeling of being able to walk around without worrying about it but on the other hand, I'd like to get back into makeup for simply fun purposes so...here is where you lovely people come in! Here is my face sans makeup, I'd appreciate any product recommendations or simply general looks.

Hello all! My name is Kairasa, many around the org know me as Candice. Either name (or variation) is fine with me. I've been on the org almost four years now and a moderator for about a year and a half. Without standing on my soapbox for too long, I just have to say that this website has given me quite a lot of wonderful gifts. I have actually met several people from the site and went on a roadtrip with a fellow moderator (or he once was anyways. ) We are now happily in a relationship and due to good fortune and God immensely blessing us, we live quite close geographically.

In short, life is good.

WAIT! There is that pesky problem of acne. Ah yes, my formidable opponent. So here I am. Creating this log. I have tried numerous products in the past and until the past few months, all was well. But now I am giving the regimen a chance. Here is hoping it will work and even more so, that I will get to know some of you fabulous folks in this part of the forum.

Hey there orgers! It has been a while since I have posted in these parts. I dabble in moderating but that is about it.

Anyways, I come here today to ask of your opinion. I'll keep this as short and sweet as possible (gotta dodge those tl;dr posters).

Current regime (since mid-2009):
1. Finacea - thin layer at night.
2. Duac - spot treat in the morning, when needed.
3. Wash with Cetaphil daily wash and moisturize with a mixture of Cetpahil and 100% aloe vera.

Until recently it has worked quite well. Here are pictures of my face currently. My face is at strange angles because the light needed to show my skin texture, that is mostly the problem.

Alright, things that have not worked in the past/will not try again for another reason.
1. Antibiotics of any sort (Doxycycline worked but that story is for another day).
2. Differin  - stuck with it for at least 20 weeks, didn't do much at all.
3. Tea tree oil - irritates my skin something awful
3. Doing nothing/water immersion
4. Food doesn't have a large effect on my acne as far as I can tell.

So, org members...help a gal out. This place I've found is a nice sounding board. Much appreciated. =)
