Derm Exclusive?

10 September 2013 - 09:39 AM

Does anyone know anything about the derm exclusive line?? I ordered it a few days ago and it should be in my mail box by now, but I'm nervous to use it because I'm not sure if its going to break me out. But I guess we never do until we try it! Does anyone have any experience with this on acne prone skin?

Another Vitamin D Success Story (In Progress!)

06 September 2013 - 09:39 AM

After the absolute worst breakout in my life and feeling extremely hopeless (after being clear for the first time since I was 12...grrrr), I discovered vitamin D from one of the posts on this forum. I started that about...3 weeks ago? So here's a pic of me from 3 weeks ago vs like 2 days ago. Both are with the same makeup on...I couldn't bare to show my skin without it. Blah. Anyway, vitamin D is cheap and definitely worth a shot.

And if anyone has any awesome scar remedies, that'd be....awesome. Lol. The scars from this stupid breakout are super deep.... :/

Cyst On My Chest

26 August 2013 - 09:43 PM

I have a cyst that was kinda hard and about the size of a dime a few days ago, and it had been there for about a month seemingly inactive. Well, today it's sensitive and seems to be moving closer to the surface and getting bigger (about the size of a quarter now) It's also kinda red. :/ What should I do with it? It's one of those that you just KNOW it wouldn't hurt so much if you could just...ya know. Pop it (yuck). But I also know it would prob get infected if it isn't already. What would you do??

How Long Does It Usually Take?

14 August 2013 - 02:41 PM

How long does it usually take once you've had a massive massive breakout does it usually take for your skin to calm down?? It's so red and even where the lesions flattened out, there's still a ton of redness and my whole face is just in crazy recovery mode. (I found the problem that was causing my acne and corrected it and have no new lesions, just scabs, redness and a few cysts that are subsiding).

Horrible Breakout All At Once!

09 August 2013 - 08:35 AM

I've posted about this on two other boards here, so in a nutshell---I became clear after 3 months by eating gluten free. A few weeks into enjoying crystal clear skin, small pores and no shine---I start taking B12 for energy. Fast forward 5 weeks and here I am with the worst breakout I've had in my life! It's going down now that I'm taking vitamin D3 and I stopped the B altogether. SO---my question is...I have a beach trip in exactly 6 days and don't want to be wearing makeup to the beach. The thing that sucks also is that it's a women's trip and all the ladies who are going to be there have awesome skin. Ugh :( what can I do to minimize the breakout during these 6 days? And also take away the red? It's going away, but super slowly and I can't stop picking. I need SO MUCH ADVICE! lol.
