About Me

Combination Skin, yet acne-prone now =.=

Asian, with yellow undertone, considered pretty fair

It all started with 3 big cysts on my left cheek and it started erupting, affecting the whole of my left cheek within 2 months. My right cheek is almost clear. At first, I 'self-diagnosed' that it was hormonal acne because I was having some in the first half of 2013, but this time round, it was on my cheeks. Being a very sensitive girl so this horrible face of mine now has really dampen my mood. My problem now is some minor active pimples, some small bumps on jaw line, red patch on left cheek and lots of PIH on left cheek/jawline. My forehead, chin and right cheek are clear, so I'm pretty certain it has nothing to do with hormones, but just really itchy hands and mishandling of skin.

Currently on doxycycline and differin and maybe regular facial extraction per month to get rid of PIH. All the scars I have are PIH which I read that it will eventually fade off. But because I have it on the whole of my left cheek (really 20-30 of them), it's really very ugly so I'm trying to find ways to get rid of it for good. I think differin really helps to speed up the healing process so stick with it. Results are definitely not immediate and you gotta be really patient and stay positive. <:
