Combination Skin, yet acne-prone now =.= (and hypersensitive)
Asian, with yellow undertone, considered pretty fair
It all started with 3 big cysts on my left cheek and it started erupting, affecting the whole of my left cheek within 2 months. My right cheek is almost clear. At first, I 'self-diagnosed' that it was hormonal acne because I was having some in the first half of 2013, but this time round, it was on my cheeks. Being a very sensitive girl so this horrible face of mine now has really dampen my mood. My problem now is some minor active pimples, some small bumps on jaw line, red patch on left cheek and lots of PIH on left cheek/jawline. My forehead, chin and right cheek are clear, so I'm pretty certain it has nothing to do with hormones, but just really itchy hands and mishandling of skin.
Doxycycline and differin are big NONO for me. (esp doxy)
Currently using La Roche Posay Efflaclar Duo (+) and is loving it since I started using it 3 weeks ago. I do have purging whilst using it for a week but it manage to shrink and dry up the nasty pimples/acne. Doesn't help much to existing red marks but it does well in avoiding red marks after pimples. Highly recc.
