Success With Liver Flushes/parasite And Colon Cleanses?

10 February 2015 - 04:52 PM

Hey everyone, I just wanted to start this topic to find out if you have helped clear or improve your skin by doing colon and parasite cleansing and liver flushing? Have you seen improvements with scarring and redness? Food intolerances? Chronic constipation?

Currently doing the first 2 mentioned above, but not yet the liver. I've finally realised that everything that breaks me out (all antifungals,coconut oil and all other oils, probiotics, my infinite food intolerances, weight lifting plus loaads more that I can't think of) may be due to a really toxic liver. Has anybody done liver flushes and experienced no more breakouts from working out? Thanks in advance for any replies.

Way To Go About Candida/leaky Gut/probiotic Introduction

12 January 2015 - 07:44 PM

Hey so its been a while since I've been on here. Was just wondering if anyone has any tips or pointers when with the candida diet, like;

when to introduce antifungals (they severely break me out),

when and how to introduce probiotics/ fermented foods ( probiotics badly break me out, usually constipate me, fermented foods like sauerkraut make my acne way worse (possibly feeding the candida?).

My liver is also toxic, I really need to do liver flushes but I wont risk them until my digestion has normalised. I think what I'm really is the good bacteria, I have been battling IBS C for the past few years but keep regular with intense exercise every 2 days and magnesium citrate.

I've read before that stomach acid is key to digestion along with probiotics, so I started supplementing with Betaine HCL with Pepsin but I think it breaks me out more?

Anyways my diet is pretty clean, have a lot of food intolerances, no dairy, gluten, sugar, limited amount of carbs( sweet potato, brown rice), eat lots of greens.

Have cut out all grains since the start of the new year (cheated a few times though :D)

I supplement with glutamine for the gut. I drink ridiculous amounts of bone broth!

I'm male, 20 years old, have acne since I was 13, IBS C since 18.

Almost every supplement breaks me out, why?! All comments and advice are welcome :), except accutane worshippers haha

Anything Else Needed For Leaky Gut?

30 September 2014 - 02:48 AM

It's been a while since I was on this! Anyways I'm currently healing heal my leaky gut/ digestive issues/ acne and was wondering if there is anything else I should start doing or incorporating into my diet. My diet looks like this;

2 cups of bone broth per day

2 probiotic capsules (only started a few weeks ago)

1 tablespoon of pysillium husks each morning

hlf teasp of triphala and neem after meals

1-2 allicin tablets per day

Gluten free sourdough bread

Gluten free cereals (ie- Buckwheat, GF muesli etc)

Soya/ Coconut milk

1 glass of freshly juiced veg per day (celery/apples/cucumber)

Chicken, fish, potatoes for dinner,  little processed foods

1 tsp of glutamine powder (only every few days though)

I already know that even gluten free grains aren't healthy but I keep eating them because I would lose too much weight otherwise.

Do I need to eat more greens, and if so what are the best for acne?

I also can't eat homemade gluten free breads, scones etc, I just break out. Might be a grains intolerance?

Thanks for any help
