Milk of Magnesia

15 January 2006 - 05:31 PM

I know everybody talks about the philips brand but I've given up trying to ind it here in N.Ireland and haven't bothered to order it offline just yet. Would boots own brand do the job? It just says Cream Of Magnesia B.P on the clear bottle and is a white liquid. Any replies appreciated biggrin.gif  If anyone has tried it or has good/bad info on it...

Dalacin T Lotion

13 January 2006 - 03:26 PM

biggrin.gif Bonsoir folks,
Went to derm yesterday and he suggested a different topical and antibiotic team. I picked up the prescription for lymecycline and my topical gel, the Dalacin T lotion (my skins too dry for the solution) today. Anybody else tried The dalacin? It does feel a little greasy on my skin but It's only been on a short while so Of course I'm going to have to wait and see how it goes eusa_think.gif  I was originally on duac, which worked at first, but got to the stage that even the smallest amount was making me skin dry up like the sahara redface.gif  (I moisturise well) Got quite an important social do happening tomorrow so I'm unsure whether to use the dalacin tonight incase it breaks me out or use my duac (I still have a little left) but then I'm so dry in the morning rolleyes.gif  sheeesh, acne, so complicated. Replies greatly appreciated wub.gif  biggrin.gif  Thanks! J.

A quick question

08 January 2006 - 03:41 PM

Hey folks,
Had a horrible breakout last week on my forehead, where I usually never break out sad.gif . I'm using duac, which usually does the trick and three of the large spots that were on my forehead are now dead and not swollen anymore but dotted around them are tiny little pimples, not noticeable but tonight I'm unsure whether to use duac or put aloe vera gel on the three spots because the duac has left the skin around them red and sore. And sorry, my descriptions aren't very great redface.gif  biggrin.gif  I just don't want to use aloe and wake up with more little pimples or inflamed spots, but at the same time I don't want the duac to redden the skin anny further (Its just the three spots on my forehead it has reddened) So all in all, Duac or aloe? Any replies are mucho appreciated. J. wub.gif
