02 February 2006 - 01:55 PM

I have been testing out food for the past month.started since the 25th of december.....I have discovered that most of the food that i have stopped eating for ages because i thought they would give me allergic reaction have actually been fine to my skin when i have introduced them back recently....

I have been all kind of crap since christmas that is exactly on the day of christmas the 25th of december....I have noticed thou that a few foods were the main contributor to my skin allergies.....by the way i have rosacea so i am especially heper sensitive......but i have been tempoary cured with a low dose of rosacea that i have been taking for 6 months......its been 5 months now and my skin is still very good.except for the few times when I eat crap....

The carp that causes my skin to react in ways such as: tingling sensation on top of mouth just underneath the nose, new zits forming, itchiness and sometimes going abit red the skin and heated.

Crap food that causes me to have allergy are as follows:

Chocolates, Biscutis (any kind), Bread, Tortillas Wraps crisps, fresh onions, Syrup, lemon slices, butter short breads biscuits and trimusu.

Since february.......

04 September 2005 - 11:45 AM

Since february.....I have been seeing a dermatalogist as i had no choice left, i thought to myself after the first course of roaccutane was over that maybe now i wouldnt have to see another dermatalogists...but how wrong was I.

History.....been on antibiotics: Tetracycline,Minocycline,Doxycycline and (most recently) Amysporin.

So this new derm i went to see in february...which also happens to be a very impatient man taht will only give you his opinions and we have none of it if you try to give him any suggestion even thou this guy was costing me a bomb..as he was private. But anyways thats just the way he is i guess...after all he is rich old and sucessful and have been studying for a long time.

I stuck with him anyways....at the time i was desparate and i have heard that he was one of the best derm around the place.

He diagonsied me with acne & rosacea......this is not acne rosacea as this is the term in the old days. Then he prescribed me with a tane course of 20mg a day and amysporin antibiotics to go with it along with other topical treatments. The amysporin was taken twice daily, the topical treatment was a very mild and gentle face wash taht i have found out now...thanks to a friend of mine that too went to see him.....that the face wash is cetaphil gentle cleanser except the one he gives me is even more milder in that the substance is not as thick as the gentle face wash by cetaphil. There is also a toner and some moisture lotion...but the moisture lotion i found to in effective and di not do the job properly especially when i was on the tane.

I have been taking roaccutane and and amysporin for six months none stop...each time i prescribe medicines from him thats not including seeing him....costs $490 and each time I go and see him and get medicine is costs...$980.... shock.gif the money they make from depressed people who are 100% desperate.... so 6 months of seeing costed me a total of: 490 x 4 = 1960.....1960 x 6 = 11760....plus the few times that i saw him estimate that i saw him say once a month = 980 x 6 = 5880. estimate total = 11760 + 5880 = 17640. shock.gif

The main purpose of this threda is for me to keep track of how much I have spent on my skin since february....i tell u its not looking good wacko.gif ....along with the course i also purcahsed my own skin care products after doing research and tonnes of reading on this site. 30 August 2005 - 02:40 AM

I have read that vitamin really helps redmarks and the reason why we have so much redmarks is bcoz we are lacking of these vitamins or more percise not getting enough of it to repair the extra damage caused by our acne....does anyone have and supporting answers to back this up.......
