#3447584 Photos Of 7 Month Progress

Posted by DogMaster234 on 16 August 2014 - 04:04 PM

So here is my before and after pics of my 6 months on accutane. It was a tough road and I still have a while before my red marks fade, but I am 100% satisfied with my results. My only qualm is that my marks look indented in certain lighting while I'm not sure if they truly are. But time heals all wounds.

#3392346 Switching To Accutane

Posted by DogMaster234 on 03 November 2013 - 08:54 PM

Hey all,
I've been doing the regimen for about three months now and have seen some great results in terms of whiteheads. However, I still get inflamed red pimples that have left more marks on my face than before I started. In addition, my face has been swolen, dry and flakey, but I have noticed a lot of people keep telling me my face is swollen as hell. I'm thinking I'm allergic to the Bp, even though I've become used to the full dosage. I've been on every antibiotic pill and every topical known to man, and none of it has helped like the Bp. Tonight I got my family's support, and I think I'm going to attempt a run at accutane. Tomorrow I'll ask my doctor, but for now I think I'll have to slowly ween myself off of dkr due to the swelling. I'd like to thank you all for the support, and I'll keep everyone posted on the topic. Thank you all

#3384424 Amazing

I have been using the Regimen for about 6 weeks now, following it precisely, and have been through what seems like a war. I started off with moderate acne, some inflamed and a ton of blackheads. I had about 50 red marks covering my face. Throughout the past weeks I have overcome the initial breakout, which wasn't as bad as I thought. I started to peel around week three and it was looking pretty bad. But now, my face is essential pimple free and the red marks have nearly faded away. Even my dad noticed improvement, which is a change from about a week ago when he noticed my skin was red and peeling. Although I'm still peeling a tad, I can tell the the redness is gone and the only acne I get now is a small whitehead, not inflamed. I never would have seen such great results had I stuck with antibiotic pills and avoided the regimen. I still have a while until I'm completely clear, but this is amazing

#3382399 When To Add Aha

DO NOT TRY AHA THIS EARLY! You need at least a month to adjust to the BP alone. With AHA you'll burn your face off. I'm waiting till the 5 week mark or so, that way I'll be used to the BP.

Thank you, you have no idea how greatful I am that I can get such strong support during this rough time. I've been struggling with acne since I was 17 (two years) and I would love to get a clearer complexion within the next year or so. I know that the regimen will help in the long run if I stick with it.

#3378239 Allergic To Bp?

Thank you for the reply,
I coincidentally started the regimen on the same week that I vacationed at a lakehouse, meaning basically constant sun exposure. I bought neutrogena oil-free moisture with SPF 35 and that did a fairly nice job at protecting me. I did notice a slight redness but it went away in a day or two and now my entire body is the same level of tan. Now I start college, so I won't be outside for very long in the coming months
