Same here, used to have a clear left side before, now it's worse than my right side. Have you tried out aquaphor yet? That's the only lip balm that doesn't break me out, and it can be used for any other area with intense dryness as well.

I just decided to stop altogether, I need my skin back to normal before I start accutane. Now I just cleanse and moisturizer, but I also spot treat with prescription tretinoin .01% gel that my doctor just prescribed.

You probably need to step back a bit and check if you are still doing the regimen steps correctly. Sometimes without us noticing, we slowly change things. Like cleansing for too long, or not using emough BP, not taking the time in between to let the product absorb...etc,etc. Also, did you add any new products into the mix? Or change to a new product?

Getting dry could be because it's getting colder over there and the moisturizer you're using might not be moisturizing enough for your skin at this time of year. Don't get discouraged though, set backs happen sometimes on the regimen, you just need to get back on it. :)

Thank you for the advice. Now that I think of it, I have been using a bit more pressure during cleansing because I heard it helped with flakes. Also, I put in the Bp and it takes over 30 minutes to dry, but sometimes I'm in a hurry and can only wait until it has JUST dried. I'll be more gentle and see how it works

I'm on my 10th week and let me tell you, rough dead skin was worse than acne for me. My entire fire was a mask of dead skin, but i found a better moisturizer, cetaphil, and have been using it day and night with jojoba oil and aha at night. Now my skin is nearly completely smooth again. It's all about waiting it out when you're getting used to the regimen for the first three months. Keep it up and good luck!

I'd be a little more careful to avoid getting close to the eyes with BP or moisturizer, as the skin around it is a lot more sensitive to the BP. I had the same thing, crust all around the eyes, but it's going away with a good moisturizer (I switched to cetaphil about a week ago).
