Freeman Charcoal And Black Scrub ~ Amazing!

01 November 2013 - 04:29 PM

  Hello Everyone! (:

A few days ago I was at my local drugstore looking at different facial masks and scrubs, and I came across this Freeman Charcoal and Black Sugar Scrub/Mask. It smelled wonderful, like sugary earl gray tea, so I decided to buy it. (It was only $4, so it wasn't a big money decision.)

I did exactly what it said to on the package (leave on for 5-7 minutes then scrub off.) When I removed the mask, I was in for an astonishing surprise! My skin was pink and glowing and my skin looked flawless. Currently, I have super mild acne, which is to thank for my recent exercise routine (2 months in) and my clarisonic (11 months in). Normally face masks will either help dry out acne or moisturize the face, but it is hard to find one that does both. This cheap face mask makes my skin look and feel super soft, clear and radiant. I've tried so many products in the past, but I'm shocked at how cheap and effective this product is.

If there is anyone out there that has skin similar to mine (sensitive, with very mild acne), you definitely need to buy this! And, if anyone has tried this, let me know about your experience! I'm not sure how big of a difference it would make on moderate acne, but I wouldn't be surprised if it helped considerably.

Has Anyone Tried Ovace Fash Wash?

20 August 2013 - 02:56 PM

Hello Everyone!

A few weeks ago, my derm gave me a prescription for Ovace fash wash. It has Sodium Sulfacetimide 10% as the active ingredient. I've been using it for 2 weeks now and I'm not sure whether I've seen any significant changes, good or bad. I'm going to stick with this product, because I understand that it can take a while for some things to work their magic.  If anyone has had experiences with this cleanser, I'd love to know!

Birth Control Help

08 August 2013 - 12:51 PM

  Hi Everyone!

I've been on Generess Fe birth control for about 11 months now and lately I've been reading horror stories about getting off of birth control. I've been taking the birth control for ovarian cysts that I have gotten, not for hormonal acne. My skin is pretty much clear as of now, but I don't think I would attribute it to the birth control. When I started the birth control I noticed no change in my skin (good or bad) and my skin my skin didn't change until 8 months ago when I started the Clarisonic skin brush. I've never had cystic acne and my chin is not the main area that I would get blemishes. When my gynecologist decides to take me off the birth control, I wanted to know, will my skin become a nightmare? Generess Fe  is a low dose birth control and it contains an estrogen called ethinyl estradiol and a progestin called norethindrone. If anyone has been on this birth control or gotten off it, please let me know your experience! Thank you!
