    You can get home softeners but very very expensive and well, seeing my partner is trying to buy a second house, it's not going to be feasible right now. I am washing my face with distilled water and it does help a lot. I'll post some pics of my skin now and then maybe again in a month.

    does nt the soap lather at all?thats the usual sign of hard water.am just curious.

    its great that u're to move in somewhere else.i hope u dont have to face water issues there.luck.

    Oh lol it's just an investment property and we won't be living there, in the same area. Otherwise I'd be stoked to move to a soft water area ;)!

    We had the water tested in a lab and it did come back as hard (which cleared my suspicions). It doesn't lather well, and when you rinse you get that grimey feel on the skin. You can see the mineral build up on the shower head and also the laundry come out really crispy and dry. Growing up with soft water all my life to...
