So I'm going to do my best, to not drink milk and use two scoops a day of moringa

I'll post updates each day.

Scoops of it? I just looked at the wiki page of it and i see it as like flowers and "pods" that look like big weird arms. Do you mean like you have it ground up or something?

Also, how do you take it? Do you eat it straight up, or sprinkle it on food, or what? Can it be made into tea too, and still get the full nutrients and benefits of it?

You just go by the recommended amount on the container, usually its 8 grams. There is a scooper in the jar.

July 4th Update

So milk for sure is causing my acne. Every time I ate dairy related the next day bumps all over my face.

Wheat most likely, I tend to sneeze consistently whenever I eat something like cookies.

I gave up on bread all together, I eat gluten free bread, but I`m careful because the amount of hydrolyzed yeast.

I drink moringa every morning, and I have lots of energy and power. My hands are cold some of the time now and my nail bed is more pinky-red rather than white.

I just need to exercise more.

Sorry I`ll be more specific - they come in leaf form, I got it from a website moringa.com I bought it from them it comes as a dry leaf powder, its kinda like a jar of protein powder, except it does taste all that great. You mix it in your sweet juices , you can sprinkle them on food but I wouldn`t lol. It also comes as a tea form, incase you don`t like the powder. I find the powder to be more effective rather than the tea.

I'm a girl, and when I drank protein shakes too supplement my lack of meat intake, my skin got 10x worse.

What I learned is that if you need to up your protein intake without breaking out, try making ALOT of meat soup along with vegetables and grains, its easy on your body to digest and it comes from a natural source. I heard bone broth helps too. Its just a tip :)

why don't you try a more natural root?

Aloe vera gel and coconut oil for your skin. It won't clog your pores.

Antibiotics will do bad stuff to your skin because it destroys all the intestinal micro flora which maintain a healthy immune system.

In Topic: Coconut Oil Is So Calming To My Zits/hormonal Acne.

I've tried coconut oil, and honestly it is amazing.

If you take in internally (1 tbsp/day) your body is getting the short chain fatty acids for the cells to repair themselves. If you take it internally it should stop your hormonal acne as well, also consider taking vitex fruit (very good for hormonal changes in your body).

I put it on my toast every morning biggrin.png It actually has more medium-chain fatty acids -- 6-12 carbons-- in it, which is said to have antiviral and antimicrobial properties. I've only found one study on that, though. In the study, it was found that the lauric acid that makes up most of the fatty acids in coconut oil (when taken internally) is converted into monolaurin which inhibits the cell membranes of bacteria and can stop protein synthesis and DNA replication. This would kill the bacteria. That would only be a result of taking it internally, though...otherwise it wouldn't convert to monolaurin. So, you're definitely right about the benefits of taking it internally! It does make my face super soft when I put it directly on my skin, though tongue.png

I'm not sure if it's helping/hurting my hormonal acne (as I still get stress zits sometimes). What is the vitex fruit you're talking about? Is it a pill/supplement?

thanks!

Thats awesome, so you don't have much dietary changes (like fruits and veggies only)? Also how severe was your acne? I just want to know from your perspective.

When I put it topically I notice a great difference , the swelling goes away after a while as soon as I break out.

Have you tried mixing coconut oil with camphor? I used it once, the smell was very strong, but just as effective.

Also I mixed vitamin E oil with coconut oil and the marks faded even faster .

vitex fruit is a herbal supplement that regulates hormones changes, and helps with menustral cramps as well.

In Topic: Milk Causing Acne?

Try drinking Warm whole milk. This will change the protein structure of milk which makes it easier to digest.

Most people drink COLD milk which makes your system sluggish and slow= acne

Try warm milk and tell me if you have better results.
