I've read that anhydrous lanolin, may help in treating Miliaria (also known as heat rash/ prickly heat). I have my doubts as it's supposedly quite greasy but I'm seriously thinking about trying it anyhow. First question, is anhydrous lanolin and pure lanolin the identical products? Also, is there anyone who has tried this before and can recommend brands or where best in Canada to find product locally. I'd prefer to not order online.

Miliaria (also known as prickly heat) can easily be described as sweat being trapped under the skin causing bumps that often cause acne looking lesions, and cause intense itchy feelings. I started working out, lifting weights and going to the gym a year ago. I began this to feel better physically, mentally and to look better. Since then I have been plagued with this disease. I only had it diagnosed a few months ago but so far treatment has not helped very much. The disease just seems to spread, attacking new parts of my body. My shoulders and upper back are now littered with bumps and scars. My arms and chest are also showing signs of this infection. I am in better shape, but these rashes and red bumps are unsightly and sometimes I feel it's better to give up working out. I don't want to give up and I know I'll never have great skin, but I just want to manage this and minimize the damage.
