your acne looks EXACTLY like mine used to. i think you would greatly benefit from taking spironolactone.

i began taking spiro two months ago, and i am the clearest ive been since my acne began forming, 2 years ago. i am not exactly clear, because it takes a while for the medicine to run its course, but i know i will be soon. and i think we're very alike, i used to be completely obsessed with finding the new natural thing to try to cure my acne, and honestly i suffered so much emotionally that it cast a shadow on my life. taking spiro made me realize that all the crazy things i was doing to "prevent" my acne made absolutely 0% difference. gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar free diets, not letting anything touch my face, pillowcases, etc etc makes no difference if your acne is hormonal, because i just spent two weeks eating and doing everything that i thought would break me out and i haven't! so it took a while before i accepted that ive exhausted the whole natural route and that spiro was basically my only choice for right now, but yeah. think about it! it could do wonders for your skin. and by the way you're really gorgeous.

In Topic: Spiro Initial Breakout

I've been taking 100mg for a little over a week now, and before then i was on 25mg for a month. i'm going through the same thing, the initial breakout is pretty bad, i noticed on the 25mg i broke out in whiteheads, and now on the 100mgs its all just cystic. so youre definitely not alone! yes it's awful but just think of how wonderful your clear skin will feel once you're done with the IB... i always read reviews and stuff and 99.9% of people always say it is completely worth the bad breakout, and it will probably only last from 1-4 months. i'd rather suffer that and know my skin will eventually clear up, than to give up and try something else. hang in there buddy :)

hey, i'm relatively new to spiro as well, i only started taking it 3 weeks ago, and from my experience so far i've definately been more tired but i dont really see it as a major downside..  i would say to keep taking it until you see positive results with your acne, and if the tiredness is still there and it outweighs the pros then definitely tell your derm about it. also i would say drinking more water is always a good option, i've read that fatigue may be a sign of dehydration.
