I dont think scarring is all that related to picking/popping. Can picking/popping worsen it? Sure. but acne can still scar without the picking/popping (atleast thats what I think)

 

Regarding your body acne, do you think things such as touching it (with your fingers, but not picking at it or popping/squeezing it), could cause it to scar? I notice that tight shirts irritate my acne like crazy, as do hot showers. Is this the case for you as well?

 

Do you wear tight clothes? What about clothes that are non cotton? Do you sleep on your back or your side? IF YOU sleep on your sides, does it cause breakouts>

 

Also, do you get any acne on your shoulders???

 yeah i guess if you get acne and its very deep it will still scar.  I think touching it makes it worse as your transferring bacteria to your skin which raises chances of infection.

 

I go to the gym alot so I dont think it helps as I wear gym tights or gym tops which are tight fitted, but I always make sure I shower asap when I get home.

 

I have noticed that I dont sweat as much during my work outs, even though I still train at the same intensity which must mean the accutane is neutralizing the glands that make me sweat I guess.

 

Ive never heard about any theory that sleeping on your side will cause a breakout before. I do know that its very important that you change your bed sheets and towels very regularly.

 

I do get acne on my shoulders.

 

It will be nice to be able to wear shoe string strap singlets, singlets, and gym tank tops, alot of dresses in AUS atm have cut out shapes over the back/shoulder region and I cant buy any of them because of my acne.

 

Lips are very very very cracked.

 

Havent had a nose bleed yet but I pack tissues every time  i go out just incase.

 

Im coping with the side affects and they dont seem to be suffering them as bad as other people.

Your acne doesnt loon like it scars. Lucky you

 

bit hard to show on a iphone but i have pitted scars.

 

I'm grateful that im do not suffer scaring that badly but i think scarring has alot to do with popping/picking which i try to avoid.

my original post said i was on 10mg a day but im actually on 20mg a day sorry for my incorrect information.

 

 

 

Skin has totally broken out, and im getting cystic in places ive never had before (in my arm pits, legs, chest), my neck and back have broken out really badly. There are two very large ones on my back that it hurts to lay down in bed as i feel constant pressure. So tempting to stick a hot pin in it and let it drain out but know this is like the worst thing you could probably do as i could give myself an infection..

 

My hair is falling out in handfulls but im not too concerns as im not thinning anywhere.

 

Skin feels very dry and my lips are cracked/flakey but only if i dont put the lip balm on.

 

My Lip balm is from Sukin and is paraben free and contains Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, Calendula Flower Oil

My moisturizer is a mix of Cocoa Butter Vaseline and Jojoba Oil mixed together..

 

If your suffering from flakey scalp put the Jojoba Oil through your hair and massage your scalp and leave it in over night while you sleep and rinse it out the next day. Your hair/scalp feels amazing.

 

Moisturizers on their own dry out quicker on your skin but the Jojoba Oil keeps your skin moist smile.png

 

only 10 more days and my dosage is upd to 40mg a day. wonder how thats gonna go? :/

Wow ur body acne isnt bad at all from the picture! Good luck with accutane, im on it as well

If u dont mind me asking, what is ur diet and how much sleep do u get per day?

 its pretty good atm because i just got back from a bali so i got alot of sun which dried my skin out. :)

 

Diet is as follows: Ill have lemon and hot water in the morning to start with, then I drink a green protein smoothie in the morning for breakfast (spinach, banana, chai sees, cinomon, raw protein powder, spinich, almond milk, kale, stevia), then 2 hrs later, i have 95gms drained oil tuna with a teaspoon of sweet pickle mustard, then 2 hours later i have 120gms of chicken or turkeybreast with salad or veggies, 2 hour later ill have a omelet (1 egg, 150ml egg whites, spinach, onion, capsican), 2hours later another smoothie shake, then 200 grams of lean meat for dinner with veggies, and if im still hungry after that ill have greek yoghourt with mango/raspberries/apple.

 

I make sure I get 8hours of sleep a night.
