#3416395 I'm A Starter...and I Really Need Help...

Posted by Aubreyj1722 on 24 February 2014 - 06:23 PM

Nutrogena On the Spot sucks! That would probably be your problem. Idk what is with that product, but it's like glue. Once I switched to Dan's BP, my flakiness and peeling went away. It sounds like a lot of money to pay for one product, but it's defintley more cost effective and it works better! I've been on the regimen for 1 year and have gone through 3 of the 8 oz tubes.

#3331786 Cutting Back On Bp?

Posted by Aubreyj1722 on 08 March 2013 - 05:02 AM

Hi everyone! I've been on the DKR for 3 months, last Wednesday. So far I'm very happy with my overall results. I'm about 90% clear of my acne, I get a large bump about every week or so, but they are going away much quicker. My red marks are my main focus now.

Anywho, I was wondering if anyone has cut back on their BP and what the results have been like? I'd like to cut back on mine mostly because I don't want to have to use it like this forever, and it's time consuming in the morning. Plus I hear that it makes your scars worse. Is that true? Well if y'all want to just let me know how you're success (or failure) with cutting you're BP down, that's be swell!

#3327260 When Is A Good Time To Start Adding Products?

Posted by Aubreyj1722 on 16 February 2013 - 04:03 PM

Just stick it out until you get the AHA and then use that for at least a month, then if you feel you need to then add lemon juice and use that for 4 weeks etc. If something breaks me out it doesnt show up for a couple of weeks, if you add loads of things at once you wont know whats breaking you out (and it could even be something you've ate but if youve used stuff on your skin you'll never be able to pinpoint what it was). I totally get it though, when youre clearing up you get all excited like TRY ALL THE PRODUCTS!!!11!1 and then youre back to square one. Patience :)

Yea I bought an Aha cream and didn't realize it was breaking me out till like a week later. I'm definitely learning patience with this process! I'm gunna just stick to Dan's advice and not veer off from it. Thanks for the advice!

#3325287 Can I Use This Moisturizer?

Check if the ingredients are safe on this page http://www.acne.org/...-guide.inc.html
I made the mistake of using a face cream without checking the ingredients first. Broke me out pretty bad.
As long as there aren't any pore clogging ingredients you should be fine.
Try to make sure its oil and fragrance free though, this will cut back on irritation and pore clogging. Goodluck!
