Lower Back Body Acne Causes?

21 May 2014 - 06:37 PM

Hi there. I don't get acne on my shoulders, and do have mild to moderate acne on my face/neck area, but for some reason over the past 6 months or so I have been breaking out REALLY BAD on my back. I get very deep cystic pimples on my LOWER back, and I know you are not supposed to pick at them, but I do it until it scabs over and I usually start picking at the scabs too. I just think it's strange that I barely get anything on my shoulders/chest area, but my lower back.... my god it looks like pizza.

I just started taking the birth control pill two months ago, so I'm waiting to see if that helps. Does anyone think it could be an allergy to something? I'm really unsure. sad.png

Saw Palmetto For Girls?

23 April 2013 - 12:31 AM

I want to try saw palmetto since birth control worked for me in the past, and this is supposed to work similarly. When I went to purchase them in Walgreens the bottles actually said they were not intended for women. I was wondering what brands are alright for women to consume? Thank you!

Nizoral On Face?

23 January 2013 - 01:46 PM

Hi, I've been using the Nizoral anti-dandruff shampoo on my face and back for about a week now for my Pityrosporum Folliculitis and it has cleared significantly. I was wondering what I should use on my "off - days"? Also, how many days a week should I use Nizoral on my face/back to ensure clear skin? Help is appreciated. :D

(Pic) Help! What Is This? Rash?

25 December 2012 - 01:12 PM

So I've had these little tiny bumps everywhere for over a year now. It all started when I got off of the BC pill, and my face has not recovered. They are all pus filled. My brother (who is in medical but not dermatology) said it looked like a rash. Does it look like some kind of allergic reaction? I use Cetaphil face wash in the morning and neutrogena face wash with salicylic acid at night and spot treat my numerous tiny pimples with proactiv's sulfur mask. In the morning if my skin is dry, I usually put on some Cetaphil lotion that is designed for oily skin. I also take zinc (100mg), omega -3, vit C, Cod liver oil (for A & D) every night.

Also, I'm a vegetarian and can not cut out diary from my diet or I'll have health issues. Soy is also a staple in my diet along with breads and potatoes.

I'm not sure what the problem is, but don't have enough money right now to go to the doc. What do you think it is? Attached File  IMG_0465.JPG   64.55K   4 downloadsAttached File  IMG_0466.JPG   78.25K   4 downloadsAttached File  IMG_0469.JPG   74.2K   4 downloads
