Posts I've Made

I read your posts, Inspired, when you posted them. You gave me a lot to think about and that is why I hadn't replied yet. I'm still gonna talk to the dermatologist and see what he thinks is best and if he thinks cross will help. Depending on his opinion, I'll make my decision.

To be perfectly honest, while these scars do bother me, I have some hypertrophic scars on my nose that bother me muuuuch more. Slathering on silicone gel for the past week and a half looks like its helping but I don't want to get ahead of myself and say for sure. If those go away, I could live with these scars on my cheeks. What I'm saying is, I will definately consider your warnings Inspired and I really appreciate hearing from both sides.

Toronto Dermatology Center does it. They do it a lot from what the lady on the phone told me. She said I need to get a referral from a doctor (gonna just swing by a walk in tonight) and then the doctor there can check me out. Who knows, maybe TCA Cross isn't even suited for me. I will talk to him and weigh the options but this is definately the treatment I would be most interested in. I will keep you informed but I don't know when my consultation would be.

Again, thank you everyone for your opinions, warnings and encouragement. Have a good day :D

I know you said if, I just meant that I personally don't have enough motivation to track this guy down. Sorry, feel like that was misunderstood :P

I'm going to phone Barankin today for a consultation and I am going to make it very clear that I'm interested in Cross. I don't have enough downtime for lasers and honestly, it looks very painful. Scabs on my face I can deal with because I'll know after a few days they will fall off and my skin will start to get better, little by little. (I don't expect miracles. I know it won't be overnight but I have read nothing bad about this method when done carefully by an experienced hand.)

I hope Barankins opinion is the same as yours.

Btw, the word mild has never sounded so sweet! Sure, it's followed by scarring but still, mild. Miiiiiild.

Baywood Clinic mentions TCA Cross on their site. http://www.baywoodcl...Acne_Scars.html

These are the places I have found. I thought I should post them so that other people looking will have a lead. If you know any other people in the GTA, please post it here for other people.

Don't even waste your time with the Baywood Clinic; Dr. Bargman used to work out of there and was the only one performing the CROSS technique. When he left, they didn't even bother to update their website, informing visitors that they no longer perform the CROSS technique there.

However, if/since you want to track Bargman down, they're the ones to call.

I don't have any need to actually track down Bargman since there is still Barankin... hopefully...

And I phoned Baywood earlier today and it when I asked about TCA it sounded just as shady as the website looks. The lady said they do it but I should come in and talk to the doctor. I just asked to see some before and after pics before making the trip. I don't think thats too much to ask.

I'm phoning Barankin tomorrow and hopefully that goes... I want to say better but after phoning Baywood even them picking up the phone would be better Posted Image

I took a couple more pictures. I hope that these don't change your opinion that TCA could help me but please be honest, I can take it Posted Image. These pics are a little better so you can see "the situation" more clearly.

Thanks again

Alrighty, thank you. :D

Maybe there is hope yet :P . I know the pics aren't very good, I'll try to take a couple better ones tonight.

I'm in the GTA btw. I've found a few numbers for Bargman but can't actually get a hold of him. :/

Other than him, Barankin has a high rating on rateMD and on another site he comments on TCA Cross positively. He doesn't have TCA Cross mentioned on his website from what I can find but he is mentioned on the Toronto Acne Center site along with TCA Cross. http://www.ratemds.c...Toronto-ON.html http://www.torontoac...eatment_toronto

Hi there. I've been researching this TCA Cross method for a few weeks now. I couldn't figure out how to take a proper picture lol but I took some. I don't know why they are reddish, its not like that in person (or maybe I'm in denial :P ).

You guys think TCA Cross will help me? Just trying to get an idea before I go see a professional and get their verdict.
