In Topic: Tea Tree Oil Burn Help And Beware

12 December 2012 - 07:02 PM

I know! Everyone says it's great for acne, but it seems like any form of the pure kind that comes in a bottle is horrible. i've read so many honor stories. no one seems to know how to make it go away fast though. thankfully mine are not too bad. i could put makeup on them if i wanted, but i really don't want to make it worst so I'm trying to leave everything off except aloe. i know there's got to be someone out there that had success healing it!

has anyone experience a tea tree oil burn? i wish have read more about it before applying it (even thought diluted). It's not a bad burn, but it's definitely raw, thankfully with no blistering. I've been putting aloe on it since it happened and just went and bought manaka (sp?) honey that is organic. i need this to heal by sunday at the very latest and looking for anything to help it heal!

i used tea tree oil and it burned my face. i used the soap and that is gentle enough for my face. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO GET RID OF TEA TREE OIL BURNS? any help would be so great. thank you. I'm using manaka honey and aloe 99% with no luck yet. be careful. using tea tree oil to spot treat is the worst thing i have ever done.

...I used to get that too, it took about a week and sometimes a bit more to go away. Gotta be very careful with tea tree oil, especially if use 100% pure tea tree oil like I used too.

It also gave me some sort of rash, which is the reason why I stopped using. It actually made my acne worse.

I think you'll be OK, just be careful and I would stop using it if I were you.

what did you guys do to help it heal? mine is not deep..no oozing, but i can def tell it took off the first layer of skin and is very very red. it looks like i got a bad chemical peel. this is awful
