He's a wee bit emotionally unstable lol, but I think he only said those things out of anger. Glad he did leave, Phew! Loved the part where he said He deserved someone so much better than me, blah blah blah. I'm like, mhmm. You're right. buuuut
relating it back to acne, forget what i said about clearing up, damn my skin, its breaking out more. you know the weird type of acne when it gets really hard and scratchy like you've been picking at it? But I haven't, soo it's really odd :/


It really makes me mad that people treat others badly even when acne isn't in the picture, if it's because of your acne they are crazy. You do put the makeup on really good to cover it up from what I see in the pictures, but to be honest you're so pretty that even if you went out speed dating with no makeup, even 800 cysts on your face wouldn't catch my attention or disgust me if I were those guys. Those guys are clearly not the right guys for you. When you don't try to find someone, and just see who comes into your life, that's when the right guy comes along, at least that is how it happened to me. My boyfriend isn't disgusted by my acne at all, and that's because he's generally a good person who would treat another that way, and that's how your future man should treat you! I also think that if a person has never experienced acne at all or as severe as us, that they are probably not going to be the right person to be with, because they usually do judge us and think we're dirty or infected with a deadly skin disease..and you don't need a guy who thinks that way. If you ever want to talk let me know, I genuinely care. :)

Realizing I dont come on here much anymore. My life is pretty much the best it has been in a very long time. I just signed a lease for my own apartment in NYC. Im so incredible excited and blessed. I feel like a normal person again. No, my skin is not perfect. I get pimples every now and then, but you know, so does the majority of the population. I would seriously say every other person I see on the subway or in person in NYC, has acne/pimples/zits/red marks/scars. Its life! I had a humungous cyst on my cheek, super super super noticeable, and I still went to work, and acted like it didnt effect me, because people dont care! They may notice it, but who cares!

My point to this is that I just urge every one of you to push through all the insecurities you have about your skin, and live your life, and move forward. I remember someone on here saying you really have 2 choices when it comes to dealing with acne. You can hide and be miserable and be stagnant in life, and "wait" to do things and move forward in life because of the quality of your skin, or you can just say FUCK IT. Im not going to let my skin define me. I am much more than what the skin on my face looks like. I have seen some gorgeous girls and some good looking guys with bad skin, and it doesnt change their attractiveness, in my opinion. SOme people, as we all know, are shallow and will judge you based on your skin. But is that someone you want in your life? FUCK NO!

You're always going to be self conscious about something. Whether its your skin, your weight, your height, your nose, whatever it may be. There will always be something you nit pick about yourself that you dont like. Acne sucks, no doubt. Its sucks BIG TIME. But dont let it control your life anymore. Ive been guilty of this for the past 6 months or so. Within the past 2 months, ive started to feel comfortable in my own skin, and im liking who I am becoming Posted Image

Lol, I don't thoroughly believe in initial breakouts, I believe breakouts happen for negative reasons, and if they're severe and not coming to the skin as a head (zit), then it's not purging/initial breakouts. Breakouts could be from your body trying to get rid of toxins through skin, if the organs you have aren't functioning properly. Breakouts can happen from excess sebum, too dry of a face, irritation, inflammation, allergic reactions, etc. YOU NAME IT, too much too name in so little time lol. Anyways, I quit BP a few months ago, and noticed "better" results, not a cure, but just improvement. I thought it was working a lot of the times when my acne healed up, but without it, my acne heals up anyways so I don't see the benefit in using it. It irritates the skin, can make acne worse, and it's linked to cancer and supposedly produces yeast (bacteria) in the skin..and that's definitely not good for you. If you want to use something less harmful, use salicylic acid. With any product you use, it can become an irritant in excess, allergic reaction, or if not used properly. It's best to only use a little bit, apply a thin layer, don't apply it all over the face if you're not breaking out all over. As a person who suffers with severe acne, I have slathered topical treatments on because I thought it'd make healing acne more efficient, but it doesn't. I find that it helps me to only wash at night to avoid dryness and irritation, and to keep my face wash as short as possible, and to use only a tiny tiny spec of any topical treatment I use. I'd wash my face in the morning, but I don't want to risk drying out my skin, because sometimes twice a day washing isn't always beneficial. It's most important to wash at night anyways, that's when your body is working better (during sleep), which is why 8-9 hours of sleep is so essential. I will be honest that I'm giving advice from experience, but in no way is my skin clear at the moment, but I have used BP, and for a long time coming too, and it may help dry out a pimple, but it usually stops working after a while, and the more use of it, the more irritation, hence..more acne. Excess is never good, a little bit of something will go a long way in helping. Also don't ever scrub your face when washing, use circular motions to do the job, and if you have any left over cleanser..DO NOT RUB/SCRUB it off, if you can't find a way to get it off...then you're better off leaving it there or wiping it away softly and gently with your fingers or a REALLY soft cloth. I have such good advice..yet such bad skin, but I also haven't been up to date with the whole washing regimen, because of Thanksgiving break and trying the Caveman regimen..and also from giving up on trying, but now I'm trying to get my skin better again. I'm starting to log my diet, behaviors, and breakouts. etc., in order to see if there's a pattern to my skin problems, maybe you should try that too? Seems efficient for most people who do, and I don't see the harm in doing it. Sorry for the long reply, hope I helped or gave some insight to you!
