Thanks everyone! I do have to say my pharmacy switched and gave me Myorisan instead of Amnesteem this month. It's slightly more annoying to open, but other than that I haven't noticed anything different. I will post some pics once I get them! It's been almost 2 weeks and I'm so impatient!!

Thanks again! And I'm going to Target on Tuesday, so I'll see what I can find. Unfortunately I've already stumbled across the youtibe videos. I've seen way too many in the past week. LOL.

I only got one blood test done before starting. A month before a had a urine pregnancy test, and then right when I started I had a blood test (and every month after that).

Thanks!! It really struck me today that I'm almost clear. It's such a relief to be over the painful acne. I would wake up in the morning with fresh blood on my pillow. Not cool! But not anymore. definitely take a bunch of pictures to compare!!

Maybe take pics but don't post them? That way you can still do the before and after comparison and you can both see how far you've come. It's helped me tremendously.

I know what you mean about how some people over exaggerate. I wonder why some people are on Accutane all the time...

#1. It is not the norm. However, if people experience bad side effects they are more likely to come online and talk about it than if they have clear skin. Hence, so many bad stories and not as many good ones.
#2. Most people experience an initial breakout. I would be ready for it just in case you get it. Lol
#3. I'm on 40 mg for one month, then 80 mg for the next 5 months, so it's a normal dosage. Many people are doing lower doses for more months now, but do whatever you feel comfortable with.

I had a bit of anxiety when I first started because I kept thinking about if I will get all the bad side effects. Time is really what cured it. With every pill I took it seemed to get better.

Just try to focus on the fact that all that junk has to come out... and one day it will all be gone and you will have beautiful skin again.
