Hi whatdoesthefoxsay. :) good luck! I did a 7 month treatment of Accutane. It was very hard! I will say my initial breakout was awful. I was prescribed am antibiotic to help get over the initial breakout, but it was still awful. If you check out my log I should have a few pics up. I had so many red marks left over. The initial breakout and the dry skin was not fun at all. I will say not having to wash my hair every day was great though. :) my red marks are very faded now though, and I've only been off the meds since June. Time heals all wounds (and red marks!). As for how permanent it is, I do have some acne now. It's no where near as bad as it was though, so I'm happy. If you have any more questions, feel free to let me know (or anyone else here). :D

All Accutane needs is time unfortunately. Just leave your skin be and it will take care of itself.

Good luck! And 3 times in high school? Wow. I don't know how you did it. Once is hard enough. Haha

The idea behind it is oil dissolves oil. By cleansing your face with oils it helps prevent your body from making more oil. I tried it for a while. It made my skin super soft, although it didn't really help the kind of acne I have. You can read more about it here. http://www.theoilcleansingmethod.com/

Could you add something like the oil cleansing method, or were you wanting something without any cleansers?
