I went to a vitamin/mineral test yesterday even when i already figured out my acne was from unstable blood sugar. The test showed that i need chromium and magnesium and zink which is what controls the blood sugar system. So i am pretty happy now that i finally got confirmed my acne root problem!
Also i was told to use garlic and cinnamon for better blood system which i already knew and was doing
So yes theres a link between acne and magnesium. Probably your bloodsugar -> insulin -> hormones ->sebum -> acne
Hey everyone i have been doing low carb diet for a long time now and its working forsure because i am all clear.
I am just wondering if i take a weight gain supplement on a highfat/low carb diet will it affect my acne?
Cause its obviously the carbs that messes with the blood sugar so i don't see how a weight gain supplement should give me any problems?
